Translucent and Tinted Setting Powders

i've been a long time user of the Laura Mercier translucent setting powder. i recently bought the Rare Beauty setting powder in "Medium" because my girl tried hers on me and i loved the finish. 

but now I'm super confused because tinted setting powder has actually never been part of my makeup routine. can I layer them on top of each other? or should i only apply the tinted powder in the places i'm not baking?

@kodakcarson @You could layer them On top of each other but you are just wasting product. 

I would just use it on the areas you are not using the translucent one. Or you could just stick to using the tinted setting powder since you like the results with it. You don’t need two.
