Shiseido has had a long history overseas. In 1897 they introduced their first cosmetic product, the Eudermine lotion, which is still being sold today.

This week Shiseido announced that they are revamping their entire cosmetic line, in a bid to increase traction with the millennial and younger market.

Lots of interesting new makeup products are being launched, including brushes, with  rebranded packaging but many existing products are being retired.

I think we're about to start seeing a lot more of the brand in North America, so I thought they deserved their own thread.

New mascara comin

I’m running out the door to VOTE but just got my present in the mail and had to share! Here is Ginza red in visionairy ( gel ) and the cream blush in peach. The blush applies like a dream and I already want more ... I promised myself no more Sephora buys until the new year but I just might have to sneak the blush in rose and red. It’s really soft, spreadable, and luxe.

If any of you are interested in trying out the revamped lipstick formula, Macy's has a nice set of deluxe sizes for the holidays. It's the Modern Matte Powder lipsticks but it doesn't have a description of the shades, just says it's an $81 value.

It sounds like from the Sephora reviews that the powder-finish lipsticks transfer a lot. I haven't worn one yet but I bet the finish is very similar to the MatteTrance lipsticks -- which a lot of people say are the "best lipstick in the world". I just hate how much they transfer.
