Quick use products?

So normally I’m not a makeup minimalist, but when you have a high needs baby you can’t even pee alone. I’m tired of looking like a zombie so I’m looking for products that I can quickly slap on my face - preferably without a lot of mess or tools - that will make me look like I’m human again. Thanks!

Re: Quick use products?

As someone else already mentioned, the Clinique Chubby Stick Lip Color Balms are great. I've repurchased Whole Lotta Honey countless times, but there are a ton of natural, wearable shades that you don't need a mirror to apply. I also love to use them as a quick blush! I swipe on my cheeks and blend with my fingers for a natural flush of color. It's not the longest-lasting blush by any means, but if I need to make myself look alive really quick, a little color on my lips and cheeks does it!

Also, I don't know what your brow situation is, but I find brow powders or eye shadows in a shade similar to my brow/hair color to be a quick solution.

Stick foundations can be really quick and easy to apply, or a light foundation/tinted moisturizer, depending on your preference. Sometimes I just take my Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer, swipe it under my eyes and down the center of my face (where I have some discoloration and redness) and just use that! Sometimes a concealer can pull double duty as foundation, if it's not too thick. Pressed powder foundation can also be very quick for evening out the complexion when used with a big, fluffy kabuki brush.

Re: Quick use products?

Hi @VyVyTrxn,

Great question! I'm not a mom, but I'm rushed out the door on most days so I'm good at looking awake quickly. Nothing will wake up your face more than a bright blush. I really like a tint because you can use your fingers to apply it. I've been using Benefit Cosmetics Benetint Liquid Lip + Cheek Blush Stain Benetint for years. You can use it on your lips and cheeks, so we have that done already.

A tinted moisturizer is essential if you want to even out your skin tone. I really love BAREMINERALS - COMPLEXION RESCUE™ Tinted Moisturizer because it's easy to use and has built in SPF 30.

Last of all, we don't need eyeliner, but a quick swipe of mascara will open your eyes. I'm currently obsessed with Hourglass Caution™ Extreme Lash Mascara Standard Size Black - 0.33 oz/ 9.4 g

Stay Gorgeous,

Penelope

Quick use products?

In regards to getting a no makeup, makeup look or a "quickie" look, I am very surprised that no one mentioned the Perricone MD "No Makeup" Line. I have almost all the products and they are beautiful! I don't use the mascara or eyeliner because they suck, but I also prefer to wear eyeliner and mascara if I don't have the time to wear ANY makeup! If someone has already mentioned this makeup line, I do apologize. Good Luck !!!

Re: Quick use products?

@VyVyTrxn like others mentioned I feel like stick products are great for a quick and easy look! These are some of my faves:

NARS - The Multiple

MILK MAKEUP - Blur Stick

CLINIQUE - Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm

MAKE UP FOR EVER - Ultra HD Invisible Cover Stick Foundation

@VyVyTrxn

I reach for this a lot when in a rush. It can be used as lipliner, lip color, and blush.

BOBBI BROWN - Art Stick - Rich Nude

Re: Quick use products?

@VyVyTrxn One of my favourite products to use when in a rush is the Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey. It feels like a lip balm and adds the perfect amount of colour. I love that I can just throw it on without having to be so precise. Plus, it wears off evenly so you don’t have to worry about constantly checking it.

Re: Quick use products?

Kids, man! They're wonderful but...yeah.

Maybe an eye product that you can use as both a liner and a brow pencil, and a cream product that you cold use as a blush, lip color, and maybe eyeshadow? Mascara is always an essential for me.
