Nose contour advice (blending brush?)

Hi guys, Quarantined and browsing :). Thought I’d reach out. Whenever I contour my nose - and I go to blend it out after - I don’t think I have the right brush because 1) it blends it all too much 2)it seems to take off the foundation underneath, and 3) I almost look ruddy and can’t even find my original contour lines unless I go in and do the highlight part. This is something I’d like to master since I can’t afford a nose job. Also- in order for the contour to work - do you need to add a light color to your cheeks beside your nose to make the dark sides of your nose show properly or is this not necessary ? I’m 50 and when I get to many “layers” going- especially so dangerously close to my eyes it starts to look like way too much on me. Could someone offer some advice on what products to use- especially a blending brush ? Thanks everyone and stay safe 🥰

Re: Nose contour advice (blending brush?)

Hi @Trocado

I have two brushes from Morphe that I use when I contour my nose, it just depends on my mood.
The Mini Flat Contour 26166D18-7767-47ED-B79F-5F05EE0FA2DF.jpeg

And the Angled Nose Contour 👇🏻

As for contour products, I like KVD Beauty Shade + Light Refillable Powder Face Contour Palette I use the lightest shade to on a separate brush on either side of the contour to accentuate. Hope that makes sense!
