Need Dance Recital Makeup Advice!

My two year old daughter is in her first dance showcase in December.  Need recommendations for the following products that will be easy to use, and safe for her sensitive skin!

Foundation

Red lipstick

Pink blush

Brown eyeshadow

Mascara (optional)

Any tips for application is appreciated!!

Re: Need Dance Recital Makeup Advice!

I second the Clinique makeup, but the best red I ever used for dance team in middle/high school was Revlon's Cherries in the Snow.  If they still carry it in drugstores, I'd pick that up. (Then again, dance team was 20 years ago, so...)  If you have to put foundation on though, I'd actually use a tinted moisturizer so her skin can breathe.  One of the best I've found that's just sheer enough to even out skin is actually Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse BB.  Pricier than Clinique, but I've found that I have to wear hydrating primers underneath Clinique's BB and CC creams because they're too dry and/or settle into my pores.

Since she is 2, you may want to stick with Clinique which is hypoallergenic and safer for people with sensitive skin... Also, this is my opinion but I wouldn't put foundation on a little one, even for a dance recital. Their skin is always already so perfect! Also - maybe apply a bit of Cetaphil lotion before the makeup which will give her skin a barrier between it and the makeup - that should protect it and help it not to dry out because the younger skin is more delicate. Hope that helps! I would love to see pictures of her makeup - sounds like you a talented little girl 🙂
