Morphe- is it worth it?

This may be a very standard questions that is not new and is overrated, but according to the consumers, you guys who use Morphe, are their pallets worth it?

The entire pallets are like 22 bucks and it seems like there are now a lot of comparable pallets that look alike from: HUDA, VIOLET VOSS, and J. CAT.

I also see that Huda and Violet Voss made their way into Sephora (which is an accomplishment in my book because Sephora usually doesn't sell rubbish) while Morphe has not.

My favorite shadows are: Urban Decay and Tom Ford. I am using Tarte and Too faced palettes now but too me they are still not as "on point" as Urban Decay....so where would you rank Morphe?

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

I actually have a lot of products form morphe and I love them. Really good quality makeup along with the brushes at a reasonable price. 10/10!

RE: Morphe- is it worth it?

Just like any other palette you will have your good and bad shadows. I personally own five palettes some are hit and miss but they are worth it. And they have amazing brushes as well. I would get one palette you are into and try it out.

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

very very worth it! just ordered the holiday bundle and super excited for it! all the eyeshadows are very pigmented and easy to blend out!

RE: Morphe- is it worth it?

Ive never owned anything from Morphe until recently. I️ received the 35O2 as a gift and I’m IN LOVE with it! The shadows are beautiful and blend really well. It’s def worth it 💋💋

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

I own 3 morphe palettes. The Jaclyn Hill Palette, the 35OM and 35OS. The 35OM and OS palettes are just mediocre, really not much to say about them. Right now, I use them as "protectors" flanking my Jaclyn Hill Palette so my Jaclyn Hill Palette doesn't get dirty (since the size of the palettes are the same, and Jaclyn Hill Palette has a white exterior). Now the Jaclyn Hill Palette is another story. I absolutely LOVE it so much. The quality is amazing, and there's so many looks you can do with it, I love it just as much as my other higher end palettes. I think its one of the best palettes that came out this year.

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

I find Morphe mattes dry, patchy, and hard to blend. The simmers/metallics are very strong though - highly pigmented and smooth. I think the shimmer shades have a lot of glycerin in them. My opinion is based only on the 35T palette and the few singles I've purchased from their website.

Morphe customer service is definitely a miss. They charged me twice for shipping, a few of my singles were broken, and CS was pretty rude. I would try to wait until Ulta gets more of their items, or Beautylish maybe.

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

i was wondering whether the jaclyn hill palette was creamy or chalky. the colors look perfect but i hate when everything swatches as a similar color

RE: Morphe- is it worth it?

I would put Morphe all the way at the bottom of the spectrum. The eyeshadows are chalky, don’t really have staying power, and a lot of the colors in the palettes apply the same color. It’s deceiving. Their makeup brushes are alright for the price, but they shed a lot. I’ve never had any issues with any other brushes, only the Morphe ones. I dohowever give them credit for their lashes, they are amazing. The band is thin and not heavy at all, mostly depending on the style you get, still not bad. The gel liners are really good too. @AntoninaD

Sooo worth it! Their products are awesome if you’re looking for quality pigment but little fallout!

RE: Morphe- is it worth it?

I️ think for the price, you really can’t go wrong. I️ wasn’t overly impressed with the 35O palette, and I️ have the Jaclyn palette. I️ don’t really reach for them often, as I️ prefer other shadows more, and the palettes are so big that I️ don’t keep them in my bag. I️ do love the Jaclyn palette for freelancing and when I’m feeling adventurous though!

RE: Morphe- is it worth it?

I'm actually wondering about the same thing. I'm worried that their pallets are gonna be chalky. Also, I'm looking for affordable brushes and morphe has a lot of them. Most of the brushes I'm using are Urban Decay and Kat Von D, so right now I'm looking for some affordable, everyday brushes that wouldn't shed easily. I'm always worried I'm going to lose my brushes when I travel, that's why I'm looking for some alternatives.

Re: RE: Morphe- is it worth it?

I'm intrigued by their palettes, but I feel like an idiot b/c there are so many shades in each one and I don't know where to start!

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Jaclyn Hill palette and I just got the 3502 palette and I love both of those.  I really think it is a good price and Morphe has really changed the formula these last few palettes. A huge thumbs up to me!!! I also have the Dare to Create Palette on its way too! Cant wait to play in it.  Plus if you follow some U tubers then they always have codes to get 10% off.

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

Morphe is a hit a miss for me.  I own the 35O, 35OM, 35OS, 35K, 25A, 25B, 12NB, 12S, and have on order the 15D.  My favorite out of all them is the 35O.  I felt like the pigmentation and blendability was the best and most consistent.

I bought all the palettes when they were first released so I'm not sure if they changed their formula or not.  You are getting what you paid for so don't expect it to perform like Make Up For Ever eyeshadows or other brands Sephora carries.

If you are debating on it, I would go check it out at Ulta and do swatches.

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

Ahhh that's a brilliant idea.

I didn't realize i can swatch them in Ulta.

All my questions will be answered right there and then.

Thanks so much.

Re: Morphe- is it worth it?

@AntoninaD Unfortunately not all Ultas have them in-store - mine sure doesn't!
