Laura Mercier Setting Powder

Hi,

 

I have been using the Laura Mercier translucent power in shade honey for years now, but I have noticed a major difference in its application.

 

I was close to finishing the setting powder and decided to buy the talc free translucent powder ahead of time( which I cannot return anymore) and by the time I put it on, I noticed that it appeared orange on my face. 

I was saddened because I felt that I wasted money and decided to buy the original version of the translucent powder and shockingly, it still appears orange on my face. 

I haven’t changed my method of applying the powder so I have no idea if I’m doing something wrong or that the formulation.

 

Please let me know what to do!
