Looks like I’m applying all my makeup with fingers because I couldn’t afford to give any of my 10 slots to makeup brushes!

I was really torn between that one and the Becca First Light Priming Filter 😅 I switch between the two all the time. I tend to reach for the Becca on warm days to help combat oil.

@PinkEvergreen Haha, well only the brushes and SF lip kit are multi-product. The palette I suppose too. When I was thinking about my choices, and how I am realistically doing my makeup daily, I need the most variety in my eye shadow and lipstick. I use purples more than any other non-neutral color, so Lila made sense. And it would give me an excuse to buy it! I have the Mini Lila but I own no larger ND palettes.

I love Sephora Favorites sets of all kinds, especially the lip products. It feels like Christmas when a set arrives in the mail 🎁

Ooohhh, this is like the dream opportunity to start over with a whole new collection!

(Ok, so maybe more nightmarish than dreamy lol, but sometimes I wonder what I'd collect if I were to begin from scratch, knowing what I know now).

I'm gonna feel like the odd (wo)man out by not tagging anything, but most of these aren't Sephora products anyways 😮

1. Cotz tinted sunscreen

2. Setting powder...not really sure which one yet though...my current fave is a discontinued Almay lol

3. Smashbox Primerizer

4. Smashbox 24hr eye primer

5. LG Island Escape palette (not necessarily my favorite of all my palettes, but it is excellent, and has a normal taupe that does well for my brows...the proverbial two birds, one stone 😛)

6. Inglot Duraline to make liners with my eyeshadows 

7. LG Lash Boss mascara

8. Blush/highlight palette...maybe replace my Smashbox LA Lights, or grab the upcoming NARS I've seen previewed

9. A Lancome L'Absolue Lacquer (or 6 😂)

10. BH Cosmetics Aurora Lights brush set (I've actually been eyeing this set as it seems like one I'd get a lot of use out of. I won't let myself buy it because I have too many brushes as it is, but based on what I use now, I think it would be an excellent starter kit for me if I suddenly had to replace everything)

This pretty much gets me my usual full face! I'd get bored with one palette and one lippie pretty quickly, but I'd be relatively content with one of most everything else for a while...I could see myself not going into excess overload like I have now 😅

@RGbrown Great list! I love SMASHBOX - 24 Hour Photo Finish Shadow Primer. I tried every popular primer under the sun and this is the one that finally held my shadow in place for a full work day. 

I still need to try LANCôME - L'Absolu Lacquer. Is there a particular shade or two that you really like?

Not many folks talk about the Smashbox 24hr, but I agree it's the best I've tried! I'm currently using a Too Faced sample, and it's ok, but not 100% reliable for me like Smashbox was. One of these days I'd like to get my hands on a sample of NARS to compare, but I'm really happy with Smashbox (and I hate the NARS tube anyways lol).

Lancome lacquers...favorite shade...oy, not sure I can pick one...that's like picking a favorite child 😛 I have:

And 3 more on the way from Ulta's 10x day 😄

Basically, if it's bright, I love it lolol. Starting over from scratch, I'd probably start with Rose Rouge or Rose Revolution, but *all* of them would rejoin my collection ASAP 😛 The formula is totally amazing, and I absolutely plan on collecting more of these!

I already have a ton of great, bold colours in my collection but almost no neutrals I truly love, so I decided to fill that gap first. But thank you for your recommendations 😊

If you like these enough to buy more later, watch Ulta or Lancome direct for deals too. I noticed that Sephora only has 15 shades, while Ulta has 29 and Lancome has 30! I'm gonna have to watch Lancome myself...their one exclusive shade looks like one I want 😁

As for the NARS Eye Primer... I think I actually bought it at the same time as the Smashbox 24 Hour but never ended up using it because I liked the Smashbox so much. I’ll have to dig it out and try it. Poor thing has been sitting on my shelf, unopened and ignored, for at least 6-8 months 😉

For the heck of it, I did a quick price comparison between the two. Nars is $1 per 0.01oz, and Smashbox is $.51. I don't care so much about trying Nars anymore, especially since I know I love Smashbox already 😋
