How long does your morning routine take? And what are your go to products for it?

Morning make up routine!!!

If it’s just my day to day makeup, it takes me about 20 min. My breakdown:

1. coola sunscreen (let it absorb while I dry my hair)
2. FAB coconut smoothie primer
3. milk makeup blur stick on t-zone only
4.  Kosas tinted face oil
5. nars soft matte concealer
6. hourglass powder on t-zone only
7. ABH brow wiz to sculpt shape
8. ABH dip brow to fill
9. ABH brow gel
10. smashbox e/s primer
11. ND camel palette (2-3 colors, depends on my mood)
12. shiseido lash curler
13. heroine make mascara base for the curl
14. milk makeup bronzer stick 
15. MJ tantastic bronzer to set bronzer stick and lightly bronze neck
16. heroine make long & curl mascara
17. milk makeup blush
18. dollywink mascara for added length
19. smashbox primer water

ok...now that I typed it out, it seems excessive haha! But I swear it only takes 20 min max! If I do no makeup-makeup, I skip the e/s.

i use that many mascaras because my lashes don’t stay curled and it’s kinda short.

I'm a minimalist on weekday mornings because I work in a pretty casual office--and I like sleep, ha. But after skincare, I do tinted moisturizer, concealer, brow gel, mascara, highlighter, bronzer, blush, lipstick. It takes about 5-10 minutes.

I tend to spend more time on makeup during the weekends, and that's when the fun eyeshadow palettes come out.

Im pretty quick. I start with skin care which consists of Diors Hydra Life Micellar Water, Caudalies Beauty Elixir and finally Caudalies Soft Cream. Then I brush my teeth and use Lancome Absolue lip balm.

Make up is the barest smidge of Drunk Elephant Sunshine Drops and on my brows Lancomes Powder Pencil.

All told five minutes I guess.

My morning makeup routine can take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. It really depends on my mood, what I have planned for the day, and how much time I have. Sometimes my 'no makeup makeup' looks can take just as long as my full glam looks! 🙂

That “no make up “ make up will get you every time LOL. I think I have mastered the timing of that to about 30 to 45 minutes.I just simply put a little bit of foundation all over including my eyelids. Next I add a little bit is setting powder and blush. After that I do mascara and I’m out of the door.

So true! Not only does the no makeup makeup look take a lot time, it takes lots of products too. <333 But it's one of my favorite looks. I love pretending that I'm a natural beauty.

My usual morning makeup routine is quick—20 minutes tops—partly because I don’t contour or use foundation and rarely use skin tint. I don’t use eyeshadow each day, and sometimes when I do it’s just 1 or 2 shades plus a liner or 2. Some days I just wear eyeliner(s). When I do play more with shadows, that’s the lengthiest step in my routine. 

Sometimes my longest step is deciding which shades of makeup items to wear that day. 

Usual AM makeup routine: 

Brows: 2-3 minutes; up to 5 minutes on the mornings I pluck one brow to better match the other. I normally use the Kimiko Super Fine Eyebrow Pencil. Sometimes I reach for my former favorite instead, Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil. 

Matte primer & setting powder on my oily zone: 1 minute. I use Lancôme Blur & Go Stick and Beauty Bakerie Flour setting powder. 

Concealer & setting powder: up to 5 minutes. I normally use NARS Radiant Creamy concealer, but I’ve been trialing Tarte Creaseless Concealer. My usual setting powder for concealer is By Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder. 

Blush: 2-3 minutes, depending on single shade vs. layering 2 shades. I most often reach for a NARS powder blush, Glossier Cloud Paint, or the Natasha Denona Bloom palette. But I very recently got a Cover FX Monochromatic Blush Duo and it’s now in my regular rotation. 

Lipstick: 1 minute If not using lip primer; 2-3 minutes with primer (gotta let it set); up to 5 minutes if using 2 or more lipsticks. My lip primer is MAC Prep + Prime Lip. I have over 200 lipsticks to choose from, so I can’t name just one go-to. 

Optional additions: 

Eye shadows/liners: 2-30 minutes, depending on how elaborate I wanna get. Which palette, single shadow(s), shadow sticks, and/or liners I use varies quite a bit. 

Mascara: 2-5 minutes, depending on whether or not I make a mess. 😄 My usual mascara is Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Vol. 2. 

Highlighter: 1-3 minutes depending on where I apply it. Usually reach for a NARS Highlighting Powder. 

Finishing powder: up to 10 minutes; I rarely use it all over my face but when I do, I take the time to blend it well. I use either my By Terry Densiless compact or Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette. 

Skin tint/tinted moisturizer: 5-7 minutes. My favorite is Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Perfector. 

Bronzer: 2-3 minutes; I use this only when I also use skin tint, to warm up my hyperpigmentation patches. It’s a Bobbi Brown Bronzer Powder.

It’s good to know that I’m not alone LOL!!! At first I thought it wasn’t normal because my family would complain about how long Id take to get ready. I’ve asked other MUAS as well as girls who wear make up daily, about how long does it take them ? they’ve told me anywhere from one hour up to 3 hours max!!!
