Squeeeee, I couldn't believe what I saw on my doorstep after work. A gratis box, yay!. ☺🙃☺ At first, I thought oh-oh have i been ordering too much that I forgot , then I saw the BIC girl winking at me on the box and I got the chills and almost cried. Yes, a tad too emotional but it was so wonderfully unexpected after work!🙂

Thank you to the wonderful BIC members, MODs and ADMINS @SephoraBIC , I am so grateful and love coming onto the boards to talk about lipsticks and well, mainly lipsticks, heehee. Just started getting into makeup and love all the helpful tips/tricks/new products in the weejly wow previews that ive learned in the short time I've been on here. Now, onto first impressions!Process

Sephora Collection Neon Lipgloss. Super pigmented when swatched on arm. I am most excited to try the orange and blue ones, of course. The rest are purple and neon pink

Indie lee I-Waken Eye Serum. I am a semi clean ingredients freak and this will be interesting. It has Alcohol 4th in the ingredient list so I don't know if this will be drying. This will probably be the last to review to see how it acts for 2.5 wks

Ciate Glitter Storm Eyeshadow Pallette. A 3 in 1 pallette with mattes, shimmers and glitter. The case is as beautiful as the Hourglass Ambient lighting unlocked pallette. I have high hopes, the swatches are just one swipe of the finger

GUCCIBloom Nettare di Fiori Rollerball. I like the scent but will definitely Need a few days to see if its my style. I don't even know how to describe perfume but it is a floral.

@Buootiful Wow! I'm so excited to share that I was fortunate to receive a gratis box as well. Thank you Sephora, Indie Lee, Ciate, Gucci and Bumble & Bumble! I was so surprised to receive this. I peered out my window to check for a Target package I had received, and lo and behold I found the BIC girl smiling at me! I picked up the package and it was so heavy - delightful!

So far I have only explored the GUCCI - Bloom Nettare di Fiori Rollerball. It is a lovely floral that is kicked up a notch with a woodier (maybe even a hint of spicy) scent. I am enjoying it because it is a different take on a rose fragrance than I would usually gravitate toward. If you are tired of the classic rose bouquet-type scent, then this is a good one to try. I am able to compare it to the Gucci Bloom Acqua di Fiori as I reviewed it in the past:

I was fortunate to receive this as a complimentary gift from Sephora. The company sure does know how to pick a lovely fragrance. When I first smelled Bloom, I immediately picked up on the tuberose and jasmine. True to the description, the scent unfolded so that I was able to discern differing notes. I was especially impressed since I normally have a weak sense of smell.

Once I applied the EDP to my wrists, I was happy with the strength of the fragrance. I felt like it was "just right." I normally spray fragrances on my chest/torso area, but having the scent on my wrists reminded me of another way to apply fragrance. When I was a little girl, my grandmother would let me apply EDT to my wrists and behind my ears, so this definitely brought back some lovely memories.

Once I applied Bloom to my skin, I picked up more of the white flower scent than the rose. I find that sort of scent to be classic and sophisticated, so I was pleased.

Then longevity of the scent was only a few hours, so I took off one star for that. But seeing how this is a rollerball, it is quite easy to re-apply.

I'm looking forward to trying the other items in the gratis box. I have to say that the Ciate palette is really exciting. The packaging alone is striking, fun and mesmerizing. The glitter moves like a slow speed waterfall. I could watch it all day!

All right, next I'd like to share my impressions on the BUMBLE AND BUMBLE - Thickening Go Big Volumizing Treatment.

I have to preface this with saying that I have very thick, voluminous hair so this product is a little challenging for me to review. I don't need my hair to be big, but I do have a sparse spot right in the front - of course! I think those hairs get the brunt of damage from styling and environmental factors. So, I spritzed a little of this treatment just where I thought I needed it. I do think it gave those strands a little more oomph, but as for any major differences I really can't say. Someone with a different hair type could probably weigh in more than I can on on the perceived thickness this gives, how much more volume, and if these features are long lasting or short lived. What I can say is that my hair did feel natural - it didn't feel coated.

I scanned the ingredient list, and this does contain silicones. I always use a silicone serum, but for those who avoid them I wanted to point it out. It also contains amino acids and proteins which are good for filling in weak spots of the hair strand - which is probably why this is marketed as a thickening product. Also, there are what I believe to be fragrances that some might need to be wary of such as linalool, limonene, and citronellol. My flat iron spray has linalool in it, and I don't mind at all. But, I used Living Proof's Nourishing Oil which had citronellol (or something similar) in it, and I loathed it.

I wanted to share my impressions of the INDIE LEE - I-Waken Eye Serum.

This has the Sephora Clean label which is definitely exciting. I haven't jumped on the Clean train, so it was fun to try something different. Considering that this is a new brand to me, and it's for the delicate eye area, the Clean label is re-assuring. I've only applied this eye serum once, but wanted to share my thoughts now as it could take *several* applications to determine the extent of it's lessening of dark circles, puffiness, fine lines and wrinkles. For now, I can report that the serum has a nice, lightweight texture and went on effortlessly. I feel that this eye cream is in line with others I've tried that are known to be good formulations, from expensive to drugstore. It was hydrating, although I did follow up with a little moisturizer as it my typical routine.

I took a look at the ingredient list, and I noticed that this eye serum is free from retinol, so it can definitely be applied during the day. I also appreciated the inclusion of squalene and hyaluronic acid. Chamomile also seems like a good addition as it is an antioxidant. There are also various oils included which should serve to hydrate. I'm not concerned about the inclusion of alcohol in this, as many skincare products have it and I don't find it to necessarily be drying. I am curious about the witch hazel. I know a lot of BICers swear by it, but I have either found my skin to be indifferent or irritated by it.

These glosses were true to Sephora's description: they really did provide medium coverage that was buildable, the texture was in fact creamy, and they had a nice shine. The pink was the most wearable for me as it was a more "typical" color, whereas the orange, purple and blue were more for fun. I usually don't wear off-beat colors, but these do have benefits for those who do - for example, the color pay-off was strong and the price point was reasonable. As for the gloss itself, it felt nice on the lips, and wasn't drying. @Buootiful I can see how one would be a little mixed with the Nettare di Fiore as I consider it to be rather different from the other scents in the Gucci Bloom line. For me, it's allowed me to build my collection, and also have something that I consider a little seasonal.

I looked up what Nettare di Fiore means, and according to Google it means "Flower Nectar." Now that I think of it, it does remind me a little of V&R Flowerbomb/Nectar.
