Cleaning my brushes

This may be a silly question but I want to make sure I'm lot "overdoing" it. Recently I bought a bunch of Sephora Pro brushes. After each use I clean them with daily brush cleaner and every 7th use I sephora solid brush cleaner. Is this overkill?

@Jesickah Your washing routine is fine, especially since you’re using synthetic brushes. Those can handle more frequent washings than, say, Japanese squirrel hair brushes. And I’m glad you’re using the solid brush cleanser, rather than relying solely on the spray cleaner. 👍 I also use a spray cleaner, but I consider it a “between washes” spray because it can’t replace a true washing. On true wash day, I use a solid cleanser. 

If I use eyeshadow brushes while my eyes are in yuck mode (allergy crud or styes), I give those brushes a solid-cleanser wash after each use. Actually, I usually wash my synthetic brushes the day I use them, with one exception: the MUFE eye blender brush I often use to apply finishing powder or highlighter under my eyes. That brush gets sprayed after each use instead. My natural hair brushes get less frequent washes, though I do spray them between washes. My squirrel brushes get solid-cleanser washed only once or twice a month. My goat hair brushes get a weekly wash.

@Jesickah It’s not overkill but if you

are using a lot of brushes it’s a pain to clean them everyday.

I clean my brushes much the same. I give them a full wash with Beautyblender blendercleanser® solid pro once a week and if I don’t have doubles\triples of a brush I use SEPHORA COLLECTION - Color Switch By Vera Mona Brush Cleaner . 
Nothing gives me the yuckies quite like unclean make up brushes.
