Challenge of the Week! 2017/18

Hey Beauties! A couple years ago over on BT Classic, we did a weekly makeup challenge. It was a great way to shop your stash, try something new and different and meet some great people! Let's start it up again! 

The Rules:

Each Week, (On Saturday) I will post a new makeup challenge for the week. It will range from Brand challenges, to types of looks, or new/old items. Each day you participate in the challenge, you can post a pic in this thread (add it to the gallery too! Why not!) and tell us about your look! If you have ideas for challenges, post that too! We can add it to the schedule. Most important rule: HAVE FUN WITH YOUR STASH!

@mrsbaine, Look beautiful as always! Wow good job on the Fire Lust. I love it but mine is almost brand new. I almost have the heart attack the other day when I couldn’t get the pump to work. Husband came to the rescue.

Thank you @blackkitty2014. This is my second bottle and I have a third. I mix it with foundation pretty regularly. Now it’s so low that I have to pump it over and over to get stuff out. Soon, I’ll be breaking it open!

I guess the red shadow qualified this for a Valentine's look. I actually pulled this palette out to give it a second chance, but I still don't love it. I bought it mostly for the red on the middle, but I find that shade in particular quite patchy and very difficult to work with. It took a good bit of work to get it halfway decent enough to leave the house, which I just don't have the patience for 😞

This look is fabulous, so hot with mysterious vampy lip color. Will have to try to mix those colors, it's amazing. Never would've thought to mix red orange eyes with a smoky lip.

I do my lipstick without much forethought or planning. I do my eyes, then pick whatever lip I feel like wearing. Many times I have this conversation with myself:

-I want to wear this lipstick today.

-ummm, but that really doesn't go with the eyeshadow

-so what?

-surely you can find something that coordinates better?

-nope, I want to wear this one

That's how today went 😂

I wasn't even sure what to call this color. It's in that no man's land between purple and pink, and while I wouldn't call it a true duochrome, it definitely changes based in the light. And when I wipe some off with a bit of tissue, it inexplicably has peachy and grey tints to it as well. Smoky is an excellent word for it.

It's the limited edition Famous Last Words metallic Cheers, currently $12 at Ulta (yup, I'm enabling 😄)

@RGbrown Very lovely look! You wear these colors well, but I hate the shadows were hard to blend. I hate when that happens. This still turned out great!!
