I've been thinking for a while now about creating a challenge. And why not mix my two favorite things in life!? Beauty and photography. As some of you know I am a photographer on the side. But my creativity for things like this are horrible! Each month we will have a different theme, and your challenge is to incorporate the theme into a creative photo!
This challenge is going to be a little different, because you won't be creating looks! Starting in April, but I'd love to get your input and if this is something you would be interested in participating in. I thought about doing prizes and voting, we can still vote for the best if you guys want. But with all the legal jargon needed for prizes I decided I didn't want to mess with that. I might send unicorn mail throughout to those who participate often though 😼 PS- They make for great filler posts on your social media too. And active participation in the forum, reviews, and gallery ( don't forget to post your challenge photos there too!) can possibly help your chances of getting gratis...like those two beautiful perfumes I got as a gratis below *wink wink*.
The challenge and "rules"-
1. Flat lays and staged photos only. I'll post examples below. But no faces or people allowed in your photos. (Though you can include photographs).
2. All photos you take must be your own.
3. Post as many images as you want, you have a whole month to get creative with each theme. Post one, post everyday, doesn't matter.
4. Let's talk gear and products! Tell us about your image. List the products and colors, talk to us about your concept and how it came to be, taken with your phone or DSLR?

Here are some of my example images I've taken in the past-
Gucci Bloom Eau De Toilette 1 oz/ 30 mL eau de toilette spray
Floral Street Sunflower Pop Eau De Parfum Travel Spray 0.34 oz/ 10 mL Eau de Parfum Spray
@Samtian, lol; I do love me some masks! 😍 Thanks so much for the reminder.
this is my favourites during break out at my face. for remove tiny bumps at my face, i usually use a clay mask or mugwort mask, it works every time i use it
That ceramidin mask is my go-to in the winter as well!
A huuuuuge yes to that Dr Jart Ceramidin mask @katshepp! 💛💛💛💛
Will circle back later tonight with some thoughts on hydrating masks. Do you prefer wash off or sheet masks? Fragrance or no fragrance?
Some of my favourite sheet masks for this fall! I wish the egg cream mask was still available for purchase, my stock is running low. The eye masks are perfect to ensure no crepey under eyes during dry weather. Although not technically a sheet mask, the tarte pack your bags are heaven out of the fridge!
@BlondeCafe This is a fabulous photo! I love those eye pieces!
I love all Sephora sheet masks. Its very functional and affordable for me 😍
Second that!! Affordable indeed.
So sad sephora doesn't carry too cool for school anymore 😞 I liked quite a few of their things.
I have tried the pearl face mask before, but never the eye one- will have to give it a try!
@BlondeCafe, I hear ya - that Too Cool For School Egg Mask is a beauty! 😁 Great for the cooler seasons; wish Sephora still carried the mask. Eye gel masks like those Tarte masks feel sooooo refreshing out of the fridge. Ahhhh! Tarte did a fabulous job on the suitcase packaging and marketing on those - love!
A picture of todays masking session 💛🍯
Are these products really good and which one would you suggest the most?
@faeriegirl Oooh all that honey makes my heart happy! Beautiful!
wow, what brand is this? I'm not familiar with it but looks interesting. I wanna try it someday 😊
Your skin must be sooo nourished and happy after this 😄
I love Farmacy!!
@faeriegirl, I love a good honey masking sesh!
Ooo I love this honey theme. I love this brand but haven’t tried the honey mask yet!
Great photo!! Very inspiring @faeriegirl
