There is so many brands out there that i love, at the moment im really into the Lancôme lipsticks although more expensive. But what about you? What’s your favourite brand for lipsticks and what’s your favourite lipstick colour at the moment?.

I’m a liquid lip gal, I work long busy days and don’t want to worry about lip touch ups. They do dry out my lips a bit so I always lip mask at night. The 3 main brands I always rotate are Jeffree Star, Sephora Collection and Too Faced.

There are a few lipsticks that I reach for on a regular basis. I used to want to try out every single new lipstick that launched and now, I only reach for a very small handful. I love Mac Cosmetics formulas, although I reach for the cremesheen, (retro) matte and satin finishes the most, for an easy bullet. Jeffree Star liquid lips are virtually the only ones that I reach for.

My personal favorite lipstick is Kylie cosmetics liquid lipsticks because they actually stay on for a really long time!

My lipstick of the year so far is the Pat McGrath Trance Lipstick in Flesh 3. It's a beautiful everyday berry nude shade that looks good on all skin tones. You can sheer it out with a lip balm for a more your lips, but better look. I also apply a bit to my cheeks as a blush, so my lips and cheeks match. <333

Cream/satin bullet:

ColourPop Lux Creme - These used to come in a very wide color range, from nudes and neutrals to black, blue, neon orange, hot pinks, and teal. I hope CP re-expand the shade range, because these are easily my favorite cheap ($7 USD!) lipsticks by anyone.

Pat McGrath LuxeTrance - Since PMG direct just had a massive sale of these, I worry they’re being discontinued. 😞 McGrath Muse is my favorite warm red shade by any brand.

NARS - Audacious Lipstick - Most of these are very comfy to wear, with great color payoff.

MAC Liptensity - A sadly discontinued line of amazingly pigmented bullets. I’ve worn various lines of MAC lipsticks for 3 decades and still think Liptensity shades are the best they’ve ever made, in terms of color, comfort, and performance.

Black Up satin - I’m not crazy about Black Up’s matte bullets, but their satins are fantastic. Sephora no longer carries them, but Macy’s does.

Origins Blooming Bold - I still can’t believe these are made by Origins! 😄 I love all 4 shades that I own.

GUERLAIN - Rouge G Customizable Lipstick - These are super emollient, making them very comfy to wear. I do have one customizable case, but I rarely use it because it’s heavy and bulky. I just carry each bullet with its plastic cap in my bag.

SEPHORA COLLECTION #LIPSTORIES Lipstick 65 Spiked! - My second favorite line of cheap lipsticks. Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick Thicc - I love the shade range of these, and their slim shape makes them nice for travel. They’re also comfy to wear, and they sit nicely under Fenty Gloss Bombs.

ColourPop Lux Matte - (Not to be confused with CP’s Lux Blur mattes, though those aren’t bad.) Like the creme shades, these are worth at least 3x the amount CP charges for them.

LANCôME - L'Absolu Lacquer - My favorite glosses by anyone. Designed for buildable coverage (1 coat is sheer, 2-3 coats is opaque), long lasting color, VERY shiny, non-sticky, and most of my shades don’t bleed or feather. (Only 2 of them feather, but very slightly.) I own over half the shades Lancôme sells.

Becca Glow Gloss - Not sure if Sephora still carries these (I can’t tag them anymore), but I like ‘em a lot.

Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer FU$$Y - This stuff can right a lot of lipstick wrongs. I also like the shades in the FENTY BEAUTY BY RIHANNA - Glossy Posse Mini Gloss Bomb Set .

PAT McGRATH LABS LUST: Lip Gloss Sunset Rose - I especially like to wear these over a base coat of lip liner.

NARS - Lip Gloss - Triple X - My current favorite clear gloss.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lipstick Peach & Quiet - Not very glossy, more like a shiny satin. But these perform very well with long lasting color.

HUDA BEAUTY - Demi Matte Cream Lipstick - I own 4 of these, I think. One shade has application issues (it applies weirdly patchy), but I like the other 3. <DIV class="lia-spoiler-noscript-content">BOBBI BROWN - Crushed Liquid Lipstick - Not very glossy, more like a shiny satin. But these perform very well with long lasting color. HUDA BEAUTY - Demi Matte Cream Lipstick - I own 4 of these, I think. One shade has application issues (it applies weirdly patchy), but I like the other 3. </DIV>

Liquid matte (I’m VERY picky about these because 95+% of liquid mattes are too drying for my lips, despite my good lip hydration/moisturization routine):

NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment American Woman - I recommend these whenever someone asks for a liquid matte with good staying power, no transfer, and comfortable wear.

Pat McGrath Labs LiquiLUST - These are kinda buried at PMG direct and there aren’t many shades. I hope Pat plans to roll these out as a permanent line, because they’re the most comfy liquid mattes I’ve ever worn.

Black Moon Liquid to Matte - I was surprised by the comfort level of the 2 shades (Sleepwalker and Castle) I’ve tried so far. Sleepwalker is a nice jet black shade. 🖤 <DIV class="lia-spoiler-noscript-content">NARS - Powermatte Lip Pigment - I recommend these whenever someone asks for a liquid matte with good staying power, no transfer, and comfortable wear. Pat McGrath Labs LiquiLUST - These are kinda buried at PMG direct and there aren’t many shades. PAT McGRATH LABS Lip Fetish Noir Lip Balm Astral Blue Star - I own several of the non-astral shades, plus the Blue Astral Star shade and now the clear R2D2 shade. On me, the non-astrals are quite pigmented. All shades I own are nicely emollient and comfy.

Lipstick Queen - I consider Frog Prince and Blue By You to be tinted balms. Both are very emollient color transformers. Blue By You is glittery but not gritty. I always carry a mini Frog Prince in my bag as a backup nude lip color. <DIV class="lia-spoiler-noscript-content">PAT MCGRATH LABS - Lip Fetish Lip Balm - I own several of the non-astral shades, plus the Blue Astral Star shade and now the clear R2D2 shade. My favorite lipsticks shades are still bold reds, berries, purples, blues, dark teal, black, deep dark blood red (like PMG MatteTrance in McMenamy), and brownish reds. I also love my green Guerlain Rouge G... I forget the shade number right now, and it might not be available anymore.

Oh, I forgot a category: metallics! My current favorite is Uoma Beauty Black Magic Metallic Lipsticks. These bullets have a true shiny foil metallic finish and they don’t dry my lips out. I did also mention Black Moon Liquid to Matte in Castle, which is a gunmetal shade. But it’s not as “woah, your lips look gilded” metallic as Uoma’s Black Magic Metallics. 😄

My favourites are Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Coloursplash Lipstick and Bite Beauty bullets. Both go on like a dream, have beautiful colours, and have long staying power.

@MsSabriina my favorite is PAT McGRATH LABS MatteTrance™ Lipstick Flesh 3 109 in the shade Elson. It's the perfect blue red. Long wearing and vibrant. I personally dislike most mattes but I love this formula because it's not drying like others. I consider buying a full-size of this to be one of the best makeup purchases of my life.
