Matte Lipstick

Does anybody have advice for applying matte lipstick? I have no clue how to adequately prep my base and it shows😩 Please help!

to prep your base like your face or prep your lips?

because it's your lips, i find that vaseline, aquaphor or even the laneige sleeping mask is great for moisturizing the lips before applying matte lipstick. also using lip liner is great too, reduces smudging and helps the lipstick last longer :). exfoliating your lips every once in a while works wonders

Yes @latikaashley  I apply Vaseline as well for a base for my lips, & then exfoliate with a silicone exfoliating lip brush from Amazon its does wonders
