Longlasting lips

Right now I use a lip balm (Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey) and a lip liner from MUFE (Wherever Walnut) but shortly after just parts of my lipliner will be left on. Any recommendations or tips? I like a natural looking lip as I am really fair toned.

@brookeana Have you tried lining your whole lip with the lip liner and then applying the lip balm on top? Or using a lip primer like the one from MAC?
