Long wear without dry

My friends say I'm obsessed with finding the perfect lipstick and they're not wrong! I want long wear which I found in Anastasia Beverly Hills matte lipstick but I also want something that isn't so dry. I like a little sheen. It boggles my mind that this is so impossible to find! I'm hoping my fellow lip-obsessed Sephorites can help me!

The Pretty Vulgar liquid lips are not drying at all and have a really nice metallic sheen! It is a little different than matte liquid lips, but not trying at all and makes your lips feel hydrated!

There’s this small online brand called Pretty Zombie Cosmetics and their colors keep my lips perfectly plump and seriously long lasting.

Hi! I'm also a lipstick enthusiast and what I've found is that it doesn't necessarily matter which lipstick you wear, what matters is how you apply it. Here are a couple tricks that help make my lipstick last all day. Since you're not looking for a matte finish, simply skip the final step of setting powder.

First I use either Urban Decay Ozone Primer Pencil (https://www.sephora.com/product/ultimate-ozone-multipurpose-primer-pencil-P395733?skuId=1704550&icid...) or Givenchy Universal Lip Liner (https://www.sephora.com/product/lip-liner-universel-transparent-P416757?skuId=1918226&icid2=products... a base.

Second I fill in my lips completely with a lip liner. My personal favorites are the Dior Contour Lip Pencil (https://www.sephora.com/product/contour-lipliner-pencil-P382448) and the Givenchy Lip Liner(https://www.sephora.com/product/lip-liner-P183916).

Lastly, I put on the lipstick (whatever formula you like) and let it sit for a minute. Then (especially if its a non-matte finish) I will lightly powder my lips with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting powder (https://www.sephora.com/product/translucent-loose-setting-powder-P109908).
