Lipstick without color dyes

I’m trying to find lipstick with no color dye even the lipstick that claims to be clean has red number seven blah blah blah

help?!

Hi, @BunnyWish - I did a Google search on "dye-free lipsticks" and got many hits.  Information is also available on how to make your own dye-free lipstick.

"Clean" is not an industry standardized certification.  It's a buzz word that means nothing.

If the packaging or product page doesn't actually say "free from/of" then it's not.  I always read the ingredients before I buy anything, whether it's makeup, food, or medication.

I understand your frustration!  I avoid CI 75470 (carmine) at all costs, and it's in so many beauty and food items.  Many companies use plant/vegetable alternatives, so why do others insist on using bugs?
