Lipstick Quests

My Lipstick Quest, the lipstick I am always buying various shades of because I never have found one *exactly* perfect, is "My lips but slightly darker." Not nude, not my lips but better, but something like a dark pink with some red in it. Would I stop buying lipstick if I found it? Probably not,but that's not the point:) Does anyone have recommendations for a good My Lips But Darker shade (for a fair skin/blonde)? I'm thinking it would be a cream finish or stain. Am I the only one on a lipstick quest?

I wasn't specifically looking for a "my lips but darker" shade, but I recently found mine and it is my new favourite lipstick. I'm also fair and blonde, and my shade turned out to be the Bite Beauty Taurus from their astrology series.

@EmmyLBD Honestly, this is such a difficult quest because we all have different natural lip pigment.

My quests for “my lips but slightly darker” and “my lips nude but not orange or pale” finally came to an end when I bought the big holiday collection of Sephora Favorites Give Me More Lip and the Sephora Favorites Give Me More Nude Lip. For a very reasonable price I was able to try tons of different shades (in deluxe samples and full sizes) and nail down exactly what I needed.

When I want to find the same shades in different product lines, I can now find colour matches on Temptalia(dot)com using the ones I matched well with already as a reference point, so that my next purchases are winners. 

The holiday collections haven’t arrived yet, but it won’t be long. I’d hold out for that 😊🎁
