Guerlain lip primer

Has anyone tried this? I'm looking for a good way to get better wear out of my lipstick. I'm also aging: I don't have fine lines around the mouth yet, but some of my darkest colors are starting to bleed out. It's expensive, but I haven't been disappointed by Guerlain yet. Maybe one to get when discount time rolls around?

I remember swatching it in store! I liked how the texture seemed a bit thicker, I was thinking it might last a bit longer.

@nothingclever I haven't tried the Guerlain, but it seems overpriced to me.  I use the MAC prep and prime and it really makes a difference in lipstick longevity.  It's also more reasonably priced (under $20).  I would suggest trying that first before investing in the more expensive product.

I tried it, and it didn't extend the wear of my lipstick.  In my opinion, the whole primer concept doesn't work too well with lipsticks.  It makes sense with your face or eyelids, since those can get oily.  But usually when my lipstick wears off, it's because of something I put on top of my lips, like I ate food or blew my nose or something.  A primer isn't going to prevent that stuff from happening.
