Defined Lips

When applying lipstick, especially dark/bold colors, I find that my bottom lipstick typically bleeds.  I have tried BareMinerals liquid concealer (which is what I use for my face) however it does not seem to stay on when I reapply.  What concealer would you suggest for applying around my lips to get that defined look?

Re: Defined Lips

Hi Chels719,

I actually use a tiny bit of my foundation and a concealer brush when I want to define my lips. I agree with angel7594 though that if bleeding is the issue using a lip primer or lip liner is a good idea. The Anastasia Beverly Hills lip primer is great for keeping lipsticks (including liquid formulations) in place!

I know this doesn't address the bottom lip issue, but highlighting your cupid's bow can also really make lipstick pop and make your lips look defined!

Kindly,
Nika

Re: Defined Lips

Hi Chels719, I like to use Urban Decay's Ozone clear lip pencil to prevent lip products from bleeding.

Re: Defined Lips

@angel7594 - do you use the fat pencil or the thin 24/7 one?

Re: Defined Lips

@Kristenhami, I use the thin 24/7 one. 😊

Re: Defined Lips

Thanks!
