100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Lipstick Queen Parallel Universe Lip Flash in Beyond Mars

This pic is much truer to the IRL color than yesterday's swatch, a frosty pale lavender. Almost too frosty and pale for my usual taste, but I am really digging on it.

These don't seem to be sold separately at all...I've only seen them in the Drops of Jupiter mini duo sets (Ulta and direct, maybe other LQ retailers as well). For $11-something, I definitely find them to be an excellent sparkle investment 💖

Wearing just mascara and what has become my favorite of the lip products I own and have tried - Tarte Lippie Lingerie in Lacy. I feel like it wears down gracefully and doesn't transfer on my tea mug at work. Of the Lippie Lingerie kit, this color I think it the most flattering/natural for me. I try to wear a light layer or else it seems to lean too bold and brown on me. I'll share the others as I try them again. 🙂

Day 24: Estée Lauder 200 Pure Color Love in the shade Proven Innocent. Oh my word the pictures don’t do it justice. It’s my perfect pink! Matte but not too drying and comfortable. Side note- I had some stressful days over the weekend and slacked on my lip care so my lips are a bit messed up so this color does show my texture and is sitting on top of my lips unfortunately. I’m going to get them back into shape and hopefully the formula will fair better then. If not, I might have to get a lip liner. So far I’m in love with it! Picture lighting makes it a bit lighter than it really is and it’s gorgeous!

2 disappointing days but in between was a repeat that I always love Nars powermatte in Get Up Stand Up-always makes me feel good :). 

Day 88 Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Pinch Me. Too patchy putting it on and the color isn't as vibrant as I thought. Smashbox Made It

Day 89 . Smashbox Be Legendary Lipstick in Made It. I hear Barry Manilow every time I read the color name 🙂 Unfortunately, it bleeds too easily even with BITE BEAUTY - Line & Define Lip Primer . This one is being returned as well 😞SB Pinch Me

🙈 looks like I’m two in a row haha. Day 14 is another buxom product. I believe this one Was discontinued too. I picked this color up and another at Nordstrom Rack. This is the buxom wildly whipped lightweight liquid lipstick in wanderess. It is super lightweight and feels comfortable on, but almost balmy, so it doesn’t feel like it dries down. It was really streaky and patchy alone, so I used the matte crayon from day 1 underneath and it seems to be ok. The color is pretty and I can make it work so we’ll see. The other color I have is more darker and vibrant, so I’ll have to see if I can work with the patchiness on that one
