100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@heartsmyface I am loving this combination so much 🤎. I have wanted to try the Dior Plumping gloss for a while. How do you like it?

@Mellmars1185  Oh I’ve loved it for a long while.  I’m on my third tube.  It’s slightly minty and plumps without discomfort.  Maybe a slight tingle.  Ha, more gentle than the Dr Dennis Gross for sure- though that does some serious plumping.

@heartsmyface 😅 That was quite intense! Good to know. If I can handle the DDG, I can handle all the other plumpers (i think).

@Mellmars1185  Thé Too faced is up there as far as intense lip plumpers go.  Too Faced Lip Injection Extreme Hydrating Lip Plumper Original Clear 

I can handle to DDG but the TF makes the whole area around my mouth red and I end up having to color correct. It does plump my lips but wow is it intense.

@heartsmyface Good to know! I have this in my stash but have not yet tried it. I also have Fenty Beauty by Rihanna Gloss Bomb Heat Universal Lip Luminizer + Plumper Hot Chocolit and have yet to test it out. Have you tried the Fenty?

I do want to try this gold gloss over a nice pumpkin spice kind of lip shade, but that's another color I'm hunting for a good one of. 😉

Ooooh yes I have heard of these 🤩 @heartsmyface. They sound fabulous. Someone in the hauls threads early this month and last had picked up a bunch of those beautiful lippies.

That shade Chilli Delight and Nude Pleasure really catch my eye. I'd love to see IRL swatches. I'm very confident these are not sold in store near me thou. 😅

If you don't mind may I ask you opinion on how it wears? I feel like I may have already asked this opinion from you before on the candy glazes, I was debating one back in December. I just can't remember how you said it wore, how long the color held up etc.. I have the brain of a goldfish. 🐟 @Mellmars1185

@CynthieLu I have the candy glaze in Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick 7 Beige Bliss . I find it has a slippery texture when applying but has  so much pigment. It is not super long lasting and very comfortable. I have only worn it a couple times so I do need to develop more of an opinion. Tbh, I have not opened Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick 08 Chili Delight . This gives me a reason to open it. I was inspired by @furbie

That's what I love about the YSL Candy Glaze, it glides on easily + has high pigment. I've found myself reapplying after a few hours or eating, but that doesn't bother me. I've tried some other lippies that barely last an hour 😆

During the winter, I've been focusing on hydration @Mellmars1185 and this is one of the formulas that helps with that. MAC's Powder Kiss locks in lip moisture too - without the shine.

@CynthieLu It has been a while. I feel somewhat embarrassed. I have not had time to open all of my hauls from late 2023. I was going to work on organizing my makeup today and I ended up getting a migraine. There is always next weekend 😊💄

Don't be embarrassed, your in the judgement free zone here.  We all get it. There's alot of fun products out there we all want to try.

I think your no buy will really give you time to slowly catch up. You'll get to try all those things and tell us all about them hopefully 😉 I'll definitely be curious. 😻
