100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Jam is definitely a traveler, but the stain is oh so worth it. I like wearing it for an hour or so around the house, then wiping it off just for the stain 😂

@RGbrown  Jam does leave a beautiful stain behind... I’ll try blotting it just for the stain effect. That might also make its disappearing act along my inner bottom lip less noticeable. 😂

I was planning on buying this color because I love it @WinglessOne . I just showed him this picture so it’s fiancé approved. 🤣 Thanks for the tip. I’ve got primer but I need a liner.

@divaknits You might have luck with just a primer to stop feathering. This one didn’t feather as badly as my other Bite bullets. Never hurts to have a berry liner in your collection, though.

Lancome L'Absolu Lacquer in 315 Energy Shot

A softer shade than I normally go for, but now that I have all of my favorite brights, I'll pick up a few softies just so I can keep collecting 😂 And soft is good every now and again 😁

I got this pinky nude from my Play! By Sephora box. My fiancé likes it because it’s low key. I’m still on the fence. I think I’ll try it for a few days at work, where people wear little to no makeup. I feel naked without it since I joined this challenge. This lippie is...interesting. That’s the best way I can put it. Maybe I can wear it on a night in when he and I are alone and chillin’ and turn the wattage up when we’re out - or if I get a more lenient job, whichever comes first. Hmmm...

Hi @Anonymous! I gave Bite Glacé a spin at work today. Didn’t get in trouble at all. Our manager doesn’t like us wearing lipsticks that stand out. *sigh* I guess I see the point. If I could I’d be wilder than wild with every red, brown, gold, black, green, and blue that I have. 🤣 Oh yeah, and Glacé is pretty long wearing if you’re wearing a primer. I don’t think it came off until I ate pizza this evening. Then again I didn’t eat anything else today so that may have been a factor.

It’s Bite’s Glacé. It’really under the radar on me, but I may keep it because my fiancé likes it (some of my lipstick choices are too loud for him) and for work so I won’t feel bare.

Day 89, lipstick 104: Pat McGrath LuxeTrance in Unnatural Natural. It’s a near-exact dupe of MatteTrance in Flesh 3 (on me, at least), which is probably why I like it so much. It’s good to have that same shade in a non-matte finish, since I like the LuxeTrance formula more than the MatteTrances. 

You’ll stop seeing me in this coat, hat, and scarf when temps rise above 20 degrees again. 😄

I was trying not to wear more PMGs until after I hit day 100, to make myself wear-test more stuff in my “declutter limbo” box. But the more I look at that box, the more I want to blind-purge most (if not all) the lipsticks in it. 😂 So I’ll probably do a mix of old (very old, in some cases) and new from here on out. And I’m sure I won’t stop after day 100.
