100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Day 15. Buxom in Hot Toddy. This was from the play box. Tingling plumping “full-on lip cream” that isn’t opaque, but does provide a nice color that works for me. Not irritating.

Day 14. KVD creme in Zero. Very warm indoor lighting, you can tell by how tan I appear. I’ve actually worn this a few days in a row. Been wearing some grey cardigans and it works with them. Please ignore the complexion!!! Still off in my routine and didn’t prevent my ovulation breakout like I normally do. That and I skinned my chin in Krav this week lol

I said I’d finish running through older lipsticks before wearing a new one, but today’s newbie was very fitting. NARS Lipstick in Bad Reputation.

Yes, I accidentally gave myself a fake sunburn with blush. This happens when I haven’t worn any makeup in days, and I forget how potent certain blush shades are. I should’ve recorded myself trying to tone down my cheeks. 😄 Many bad words were uttered. Cheeks like these will certainly grab strangers’ attention, if you’re wondering how to get noticed. 🤣 Luckily I’m not the type to care much about other people’s assumptions based on my makeup choices. Besides, I was too happy today about finally being well enough to leave home. Ah, outdoor air and city sounds, how I’ve missed you! ❤️

@WinglessOne  Blush looks fine to me.  🙂  I know that feeling though.  My left cheek has a permanent red area, in addition to being asymmetrical to my right cheek as far as cheekbones go.  It's a nightmare trying to apply blush evenly, and I kept adding more to each side to get them evenly shaded the other day, and ended up looking like I had a fever.  I tried to fix it by wiping my cheeks with tissue, applying some concealer, and hoping for the best.

Thanks @Ispend2much6  I almost resorted to concealer this time... actually, I almost washed my face again to redo my entire routine, but I had to be somewhere this morning so there wasn’t time for that. 😄 

I know someone else who has a permanent red area (a large birthmark, in her case) on one cheek. She uses 2 different shades of blush: the shade she wants on one cheek, and a different shade on her other cheek that’ll alter her birthmark’s color enough to match or nearly match the first blush. She hates full coverage foundation, so this method works well for her. Plus, it’s a perfect excuse to buy more blush. 🙂
