100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Day 1! My long-time, goes-with-everything, perfect-in-every-way lipstick: MAC Lip Glaze in 'Hot Tahiti. I am CRUSHED that this has been discontinued! Though it is giving me an excuse to buy new lippies in a quest to find the perfect dupe. 😉

@CheekyKeek  This looks so gorgeous! It looks like the perfect everyday shade. I agree with @WinglessOne  this looks like Flesh 3.  It's a really great matte formula. If you're in the hunt, I would pick it up in the mini version PAT McGRATH LABS Mini MatteTrance™ Lipstick Trio Skin Show to see if you like it first.

@CheekyKeek  Welcome to the challenge! Hot Tahiti looks great on you. It almost reminds me of Pat McGrath MatteTrance in Flesh 3, one of my favorite goes-with-everything pinks, but I think that’s a touch warmer toned. I bet ColourPop Just A Tint Lip Crayon in A Go Go is a near dupe; that’s a sheer coverage formula, though. Hmm... there’s a ColourPop Lux bullet in the shade Ghosted that might be a tad bolder than Hot Tahiti, but still quite close. Unfortunately, ColourPop recently discontinued that shade (along with many others). 😭 If only brands didn’t discontinue the best shades, right? Sigh.

I know there have been a few lipstick challenges going on but I haven’t had the chance to post in a while or even take selfies since work has been so hectic. But I did want to share this beautiful gift from my sister! I was traveling for 3 weeks and came home to this gorgeous Dior Addict Stellar Shine lipstick. It’s got a balm like finish but the pigmentation of a lipstick. The color is what I like most about it! Such a gorgeous shiny raspberry shade.
