100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

My favorite liner of all time is Urban Decay's Manic. It worked with any peach or pink, and corals too - well, passable with coral and for some reason I fixated on coral for eight months.

I stick to 3-4 core liners and get "attached." I keep buying the product so many times but from sheer use it lives with me, and I relive memories through songs and the makeup I wore.

Nude color lips. They finally shipped me my first Naja, I ordered it long ago:

At least I can get excited it's en route. Later I got another sight unseen but I just know the color and the name. I just have a clue on texture but it's exciting. OMG!

That cobra inspired one! I can tell because I would have gone one shade lighter. But what I chose is rich and deep, and meant for me and all the other owners. They have it and for a purpose too. I know you all understand. Which is what I like!

If yet another favorite is phased out, I'll be bummed. And right now I am loving life.

YES, Manic is still purchasable! Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Lip Liner Manic In terms of pencils, eye pencils lip pencils I exclusively turn first to Urban Decay. They have more fat, richer, moist, deep coloration so the formulas go on best and they do color great.

(I don't recommend UD lipsticks, I don't care for them but that is a personal preference. So that sentence means nothing, just pontificating. I am waiting for Natasha Denona I Need A Nude Lip Liner NB4 Naya since if it's an ace which I feel instinctively it will be winning in a major way, then Natasha Denona I Need A Nude Lipstick Naya will be my official replacement of Urban Decay Vice Lipstick Manic. I need to alternate sometimes. And as far as lipstick, maybe I can do one more. I would get Naya if wins in a major way. The lipstick is a given.

Other two if I can find them, if not @lmaster they have gone, stopped production. Sucks when it is a signature or some color that is so great off and on you. And it handles in the hand so nice, and is pleasing.

Urban Decay 24/7 core ones have been Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Lip Liner Manic # Manic, Rush (oh and I do a lot of rushes) Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Lip Liner Rush #, and Bad Blood Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Waterproof Lip Liner Bad Blood #. I want two more to get a new core three. 

I don't have any lipliners right now. I use Cruella as a makeshift liner for reds NARS Velvet Matte Lipstick Pencil Cruella. And this one, dang, I'm clueless I sharpened through it so fast!

I made it large to help ID. I should really just go new. I want another one of these though.

Please, does anyone know which one that is?  If so great! (The situation's critical.)  I need two more liners but I take my time. I can't make major decisions right now. But still remain obsessed.

NB4 Naja/Naya is the genus name for the cobra, an asp. They designate families based on similar skull conformation among other things. The one they picked to represent cobras out of the genus Naya/Naja is the same word twice; makes sense for the typical chosen prototype. I love those too. Naja naja or Naya naya (here's where the alpha character's changing does nothing to change the meaning behind the same sound).  God knows they are beautiful. 

Hemachatus haemachatus or Rinkhal (removed from the cobra family by name, being an outlier, but it's one of my favorite cobras and it still is a cobra just set apart in its own category. It is a creation brands aspire to be = set apart. Its Latin name is akin to "blood on blood" or "blood:blood." (There are differences I could specify, but I won't go on about them.)

Usually, 90% of cobras are neurotoxic. Rinkhals' (Hemachatus haemachatus) venom is different from other cobras because it is both neuro- and cyto- toxic. Mostly asps have soley nuerotoxic venom, but this one also has a potent cytotoxin. The name means "cell slayer." Cyto greek (root or stem) for cell.

98% of those who get bitten suffocate (they pass from a lack of oxygen since it disables electrictrochemical signaling to the whole body, including the diaphram that get messages from your brain stem to make your lungs breathe). Bites are rare because they (picture, now they have inspired DOPE MANICURES, yellow and black is a rockin' b_____n' combo!)
Prime yellow is on the neck. It needs to be seen in person. Pictures, well, suck sometimes.
avoid people, and do it well. They are discreet in ways that imply higher intelligence compared to a brute beast like cow or oxen. Cytotoxin feels like acid eating your flesh. It is like microscopic swords cutting through your cell membranes (wall). I still think of cell walls as phospholipid bilayer, on autopilot, it's the internally facing inside aspect our cell walls.

It's so fatty, nonpolar, lipid-rich, it's so beautiful the barrier it makes. Back to the venom, cytotoxin travels fast from the bite origin. I would argue it defies chemical "laws" of physics for an aqueous solution that idiot scholars preach as absolutes. No, we know now they were just patterns YOU saw and wanted to typify. Who cares how you would categorize, keep it to yourself or share it with someone who cares. I only say that because they taught something wrong, hardly true in all instances, and they posited it was. Miseducation is unjust.

We make our own assessment at some point. Like I don't need teachers, and you don't either. Me I have one already. He is also Master and King. I call no one "teacher" except Him. I love it.

Plus, some get scared of snakes and I did not want to accost anyone visually so I made this part a spoiler. But I already associate the lipliner with all that and could write 25 pages on connections. This is going to be profound.

I am elated. I love it! Second I love Naja melanoleuca [Naya melanoleuca].

My heart goes out to others. Other snakes that are not cobras. One of incredible beauty like the genus dendroaspis. Dendroaspis augisticeps is a rare beauty (OMG). I have an extraordinary real picture of a mated pair of dendroaspis jamesoni but they're dull in comparison to dendroaspis augisticeps, c'mon!
He did okay and it was a hard job. I am pleased but damn I wanted the others but these are hard to find. And plus you know, risky.
I wish the photographer could have gotten me augusticeps! That is what I really wanted! I thought of dendroaspis when I chose my wedding gown. Dendroaspis augusticeps is variant chartreuse I don't know most would describe as phosphorescent green but I don't know if I agree. Like most green dendroaspis their bottom scales are a unique blue turquoise. The combo are what I chose for my wedding colors. Vlad wore thier special bright blue. I didn't mention the inspiration to people. It's complicated.

They are bright, smart, and hyper-aware. Augusticeps don't like to bite humans so they have to feel it's life or death, and then they strike. Otherwise, it tries escaping you as opposed to coming after you. Now a dendroaspis polyepsis will come after you, and you are f*****d. They can't stand being disturbed and they have no fear. We avoided them but I saw them when they were captive. Back to dendroaspis augisticeps they are very timid, shy, sweet and they hide perfectly. They have neurotoxin only. They are why I prefer peridot stones to diamonds. ALL THE WAY BABY & NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

I wanted to be a herpetologist but I don't know why I chose what I did for career #one#. I have had three careers, all different speciliaties and they all sucked except for one but I can't get to Kyiv easy and I enjoy getting back into chem. But still any career sucks. I don't care what people say.

Last thing about the augusticeps coloration. I went with a fluorescent green gown for my wedding dress, a Tadashi Shoji i. All I knew about him since I was clueless - was Mr. Shoji designs for the Miss America pageants. I did not care. I just had a vision of a peridot green gown and this creature in the recesses of my head.

The pigment won't work for me on my face. I just can't pull it off.

Naya Naya - aren't they so beautiful? Eyeliner should be named after them. You will see one eye because of how they were made, but it will communicate a lot. They're beautiful, noble, forthright, beautiful in form and candor. Discreet when they sense danger. Cautious. Solitary. Something to behold - from a distance. They are like decor, this is getting deep on me, lmaster.

CLARIFICATION: In Hebrew the Y and J are interchangeable or the same alpha symbol (and letters are numbers too), so I saw Naja Naja (which are beautiful.). It's pronounced like a Y anyway, you say "Nie - ya Nie - yah"

Last one here as I love this but I am traveling tomorrow. UGH in these times. Anyway, today is a no-makeup day. NARS Audacious Lipstick Barbara really dresses up (but very understated a nude face).

It is a gorgeous peach pink nude. And it lasts! Very very pigmented as audacious as a nude can be.

A nude doesn't wake up the face at all, but IMO it seems to bring something to my face. Though it's bare. (Bear with me.)

I love all of Francios Nars' Audacious Lipsticks, very few I didn't I think only Charlotte I didn't like. The best lipstick line in my personal opinion, yours will be different and that is cool. These rock the house! And BARBARA, so gorgeous.

So velvety and rich upon application, nonirritating and bold in pigment.
