100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Aug 19: Charlotte Tilbury Coachella Coral: it might be a new favorite from CT. Everything is sooo good about it. The only complaint is it is not Coral on me. It is pink. The lipstick color is pretty true irl. Please don’t mind the greys. It is from my job which ages me. Sigh!

@blackkitty2014 Heh, I got my first gray strands at age 15, so no one else’s gray hair phases me. 🙂 And that color looks great on you, even if it is pink instead of coral.

8/17 & 8/18: I was brows-only while traveling. 

8/19: MAC satin in Rebel. This is what I wear most often. It’s my favorite berry. I wear it so much, I have 3 tubes—a full size, a backup full size, and a mini—in my collection. I’ll feel strange not wearing it the next 96 times I reach for lipstick.

Thanks so much, everyone! I need to put my 3 tubes of Rebel in a baggie labeled “DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT,” if I’m going to restrict myself to no repeats for this challenge. 😄 I realize I could repeat a shade and the world won’t end, but I’m gonna try holding myself to no repeats. That’s the only way I’ll reach deep into my collection to grab less-used ones.

Good luck resisting this shade down the road @WinglessOne I'm trying to figure out how I can maintain organization of my collection while keeping track of what I have already worn. It's definitely not something I thought about when decided to do this.....
