100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Day 7: another gloss day lol. Just Laura Mercier Lip Grace in Baby Doll. I like it as it gives me a little pink shade and some some sparkle 🙂

Been off the wagon due to dry lips. Day 66. Marc Jacob's Le Marc in So Rouge. A gorgeous red. Only just put it on so it needs a wear test, but I want to post a pic right away with my giant smile from it.

I just love that smile @sprocketta ! That’s such a beautiful true red lipstick ! I’m sorry that your lips are dry, I hope that you give them TLC everyday! It’s so dry now that the weather has cooled 🥶 !

Very true about the weather. My lips never get dry ever, so I was surprised by this. Thank you for the kind words. When my splint is gone I will be doing more eye looks. I've only done 1 since my surgery because the hand issue is annoying. More soon enough.

I've been very tempted to wear Elson again  but have stuck to the challenge. This was a pretty impressive red as well. A good red lipstick always makes me happy.

Lippies from the last two days

 

UD liquid lipstick in Trap Queen. It is a good red in itself but what I really love about it is the subtle gold shimmer that can only be seen in a close-up:

 Great staying power, BTW.

This is Bite Beauty gloss in Gold Pearl applied over a Tattoo Junkie lippie. You cannot see anything of the TJ, because the Bite gloss is just so pigmented and covers it all. I love how truly golden it looks! Over the course of the evening (and after a lot of beers) the gloss wore down gradually leaving the TJ colour exposed with just a slight hint of gold.
