100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

UD Vice in Heat (Metallized)

A lovely warm red, almost brickish, with a coppery sheen. While many of the Metallized UD's I have are more shimmery or pearly, this one has loads of straight up glitter, and sadly, is a touch gritty from it. Not so bad that I dislike it, but still enough to notice it. Otherwise though, the formula itself seems to be their cream formula, which I like, so this is a keeper.

Aw too bad abou tree grittiness.  From the photo I can’t even detect glitter.  It looks like a straight up chrome.  I’d be keeping that one too;) (says the girl who decided to do a lipstick  purge and got rid of a mere 12 items) @RGbrown

Day 94. The weirdest lip product I've tried this far. House Etude Zero Red Soft Drink Tint. The packaging is very cute, but I wasn't looking for a pop-flavored lip product. And it did not taste good. It was a horrible, artificial taste that wasn't cola but I couldn't figure out what the flavor was. It stayed sticky on my lips so I kept tasting it. It seemed okay. I don't use many stains so I don't have a reference for comparison.

@sprocketta  Okay, I’m not usually a sucker for packaging but curiosity would force me to buy this. 😂 So I’m especially glad to hear your thoughts on it. I don’t do many stains, but I also don’t expect them to be sticky. The color’s great on you, but boo to bad tasting lipstick!

Oh I saw those around the holidays!  There’s a fridge of them you can buy! Most of Étude houses lip tints smell generically sweet and fruity.  I have a previous release where they were in popsicle form.  Thé soda bottles are super cute!  

I haven’t tried a whole lot of lip stains, the too cool for school ones are the closest and then there’s the YSL stains which are lovely.  @sprocketta

Doesn’t look like you like that one much @sprocketta. I can tell because you don’t have that beautiful smile as usual. I hate lippies that smell weird. Might be why forever trying to smell them first if I can. The color looks great on you though.

This is lovely on you @naturalooks15 How do you like the Huda matte lipsticks?

@sprocketta I think they are pretty ok formula wise. I was able to wear it for 3-4 hours without flaking. I felt them little dry on me but then I am not used to wearing lipstick or liquid lipstick plus I have super dry lips (I just wear Bite agave balm everyday) so my comparison is skewed. 

I think I need to work on getting the prolonged use from them. I put bite lip balm on top of it and since I am not used to wearing it, I wiped it off along with my lunch.
