100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

So, @divaknits  made me realize I haven’t worn all my not-bold pink or neutral PMGs for this thread. Let’s change that! Today’s was Pat McGrath LuxeTrance in Beautiful Creature. 

The kind of “conventional” pink shade I’ll actually wear.

Before today, I had only done a quick 5 minute “gotta try on my new pretties” test, and that was last year. Today was a full day wear test. Beautiful Creature is slightly dry for a LuxeTrance. It has a cream satin LuxeTrance finish, but it feels more like a MatteTrance on my lips. That doesn’t bug me, though. 🙂 This is the kind of “conventional” pink shade I’ll actually get a lot of use out of.

Day 50: PMG in 1995. This looks like a pinkish nude. It almost looks like I have nothing on. Michael loved it. Maybe because he likes me to look “natural.” He doesn’t realize how hard it is to look “natural” for me. 😄 Ok so I’m satisfied with this mini trio. They looked better than I thought. All I have to do is use a lip balm. I’ll say it wasn’t a bad introduction to PMG. I’ll have to buy more colors when I have money.
