100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Day 9! Keeping on trend with yesterday, I’m using a product that I haven’t used yet because it was a little intimidating. This is the Milk Lip+Cheek in Werk. I don’t usually wear blush and was unsure how a product could do both well. I used it on my cheeks and lips for a monochrome look, but the color pulled more baby pink on my lips so it’s not a real match after all 😂 it has a similar smell to the bite amuse bouche which I don’t mind. Blends really nicely on the cheeks although lip application is a little messy right from the tube. It has a balmy texture so I don’t anticipate it being long lasting but its very comfortable on.

@cianni I like the concept of lip and cheek colors, and I like the texture of that Milk one, but that shade doesn't work for my lips, either! It's lovely as a blush, though it's not the most long lasting formula.

@txcatx yeah! I think I’ll have to use it exclusively as a blush, or maybe something quick for a no-makeup day if I’m not feeling a gloss. I couldn’t believe how baby pink it looked when I put it on 😂 I never would have guessed it from the tube

Day 20: Marc Jacobs Enamored Hydrating Lip Gloss Stick in Sugar Sugar. Ever since Kathleenlights recommended it I was dying to get my hands on this baby so I grabbed it during the sale. So far loving it! It’s like a mix of a lip gloss and a lip balm that you can apply from a stick. Beautiful color too but hard to see lol described as “champagne-gold shimmer.” Very pretty, feels amazing, has lip care benefits and smells like mint!

DAY 100!!!!!! Holy MOG! I didn't think I could keep up with this, but yay! My final choice is the Bite Limited Release - Hall of Famer which was a gift from Sephora to all the HoFers when they made the switch to BIC. I thought that might be an appropriate selection. 🙂
