100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Thanks, @eshoe! I've been super cautious because I once ended up with pneumonia after the flu, and that's not something I ever want to experience again!

Remember when swine flu was going around about 8 years ago @txcatx?  My whole family got it. I was the last one and got hit worst. Five full days of fever and sweating and listening to my lungs wheeze. And as soon as the fever broke, it started to spike again because I got walking pneumonia. Oy. One of my twins ended up getting hospitalized with pneumonia after it, too. The flu is no joke!

The Mattemoiselles look really nice when finger-dabbed (I’ve done that with Freckle Fiesta a few times), and Candy Venom’s no exception. It looks so soft and plush on you, @txcatx. I hope you feel better soon! Boo to the flu!

And I don't know why it took me so long to try the Mattemoiselles--I had a mini of this one sitting in a drawer for a good year or so. The formula is pretty nice!

Day 34: ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip in The Rabbit. Surprisingly I love it! Nice bright fuchsia with a blue shift. Comfy and not drying. First satin lip is a success! Although I’m not sure where I would wear this lol 😂

Showing my bias again 😂 but WOW, that looks amazing on you, @SnugglePuggle94! I’m such a sucker for blue-shift fuchsias/pinks/purples, but this really is a fantastic shade for you. I’m glad you like it! 

Instead of my usual “wear it anywhere!” answer, I’ll suggest wearing it out to dinner, parties/get-togethers, special events, etc. That’s also the kind of shade that’s great as a single pop of color when you’re wearing all black or all white, or a mix of black and white. Whatever you decide, I hope you get a lot of use out of this one!

Thanks so much @WinglessOne!! It looked a tad darker when I first put it on, and in office lighting, but when I went out and about it looked a lot like the online picture- more pink, and beautiful! And under the flash you can see the amazing blue sparkle in it!!

I was staring at this one over the last few weeks of December LOL. The fuschia with blue in it just was speaking to me so I grabbed it hehe and I'm glad I did! Only thing is that it does bleed/feather a tiny bit early on so a liner might be useful for this but the staying power just like most CP's knocks your socks off! 

Thanks for the tips! I will definitely be using this a lot!! Gotta remember, black or white haha 😉

Omg so beautiful!! @SnugglePuggle94 I love how over the course of the challenge you’ve seemed to come out of the comfort zone a bit with your color choices ❤️ I think this would be so fun in the spring! For some reason I associate true blue-reds with fall and winter, and fuschia, pink-reds or orange-reds for the spring and summer as a bolder pop!

I am having a hard time finding the right lighting. Today is Tarte Lippie Lingerie in enticing from the 2017 holiday kit. It is fairly neutral with some purple. This is my 2nd favorite from the kit.
