100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Day 7. Today I overslept and had 15 minutes to get out the door from the moment I opened my eyes, so I grabbed Winky Lux Rainbow confetti balm. It’s a super light pink balm. Easy to apply when sitting in traffic without looking like the Joker after. I honestly only bought this because I really wanted the kitty head change purse that came with it. Also, the confetti sparkles make me smile!

Hmmm, i can’t tell from the pictures but do the glitters translate onto your lips or is it just a color change balm? @Weetart

@heartsmyface I think it’s just color changing balm. I’m not sure this changes if/when I get further down the tube where the glitter is more dense.

Today for Valentines Day I went with a bright pink - bareMinerals Gen Nude Liquid Lipstick in Fresh. It’s a bit warmer and brighter than what is shown, it’s got a definite yellow base. I usually have a hard time with shades like this, but this particular one is okay. I wish the formula was a tad creamier, a shade this bold tends to make lips look drier than they are.
