100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@divaknits Yes, it is. Was pleasantly surprised how long it lasted on me. Great formula and pigmantation. Definitely a keeper (well, keeperS as I mixed 2 of them together 😊 )

this is really pretty @katkapivarci I don't have much experience with lip liners...I try to use them but they are not something I reach for often

@snoflakefaerie I have to use them with liquid lipsticks. I can’t do nice even lines with just the wands.

Very pretty @katkapivarci I like the burnt rose rose shade on you 👍👍 Sigma has some good lip brushes or if there’s a gloss or liquid lip that you hate or dried out wash the applicator and keep it.

@katkapivarci  Love your custom shade! I don’t own a lip brush, otherwise I’d recommend one. I should use one for ombré looks but, I dunno, I just don’t like using them.

You could get some tester doe foot applicators instead. Perhaps a couple for free, even, from Ulta or Sephora. Not that I recommend pocketing a handful of Sephora’s tester doe foot applicators 😄 but, well, you know. I kept and washed the applicators from a couple of liquid lipsticks I tossed last year. I reuse those for things like custom shade blends. 🙂

By Terry Terrybly Velvet Rouge in Gypsy Rose. It’s a liquid satin with a very comfy finish: not matte or drying at all, but not super emollient either; it doesn’t dry down (it’s not a matte), so it transfers a lot, but I have no problem with that. Some folks hate barbell applicators (vs. the typical doefoot applicator) but I find them easy to use, especially with a formula like this. One coat is all I need, and I don’t have to dip back into the tube to cover both lips. No streaking or patches, no bleeding or feathering. 

Ugh, my face is starting to rebel against DE Pekee Bar and its honey content. 😞

This is the second of these By Terry liquid satins I have. I’ve had ‘em for a while but never wore them. Must wear the other shade next! I wish these came in many more colors. Probably a good thing they don’t, lest I buy 10 new shades at once. 😂
