100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Day 47: Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto Beautifying Balm Limited Edition In 05-Spirited. I’m still warming up to this one just because it has a plumping effect in it, which I’m not used too. Nice pretty orange color, starts out sheer but buildable. Can’t test how comfortable it is because my lips are still feeling the plumping sting/throb. I had a bit of confusion today with my daily lippie because what I had thought I had bought the spring limited edition Le Rouge bullet lipstick on Sephora a few weeks ago, turned out to be the Le Perfecto! So when I saw Barney’s had a sale the other week I grabbed the balm so then I could have both and save some money. Imaging my surprise when I went to grab the bullet lipstick and opened up another balm! Turns out Sephora has both of the limited edition spring collection mixed up on the website!! Lol! I sent in an email letting them know so hopefully others won’t get confused and they will fix it soon. I’m going to send the Sephora one back since I saved money at Barneys and will grab the actual lipstick instead lol 😂

Day 21 Illamasqua lip liner in Lust and Sephora Collection lip stain in Always Red

I was originally going to post on the eyeshadow thread, but was in a hurry so I didn’t do a closed eye pic to actually show the shadow 🤦🏼‍♀️ Silly me 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Guessgal  You look gorgeous here!  The red really suits you.  Are those your real lashes?  If yes, what mascara are you using?

Thank you @sprocketta! Unfortunately they are not my real lashes. I’m wearing Velour lashes in “My Life’s Complete.” However, I am also wearing the stila Huge Extreme Lash Mascara Black

and it really adds volume to my sparse lashes and keeps the curl all day long. Let me know your thoughts if you decide to try it 😊

Aww thank you @lmaster! Temperatures are as low as -30 here in Canada recently so I had to bundle up haha. I felt warm in my layers 🤗

Awesome contouring, did you use a lip brush? @Guessgal  Can you recommend a good, cheap lip brush?

Thank you @Buootiful! I use the Quo retractable lip brush. I’m in Canada and I’m not sure if this is sold in the States. One that is comparable though, is the Lancôme retractable lip brush. Not exactly a cheap one, but their direct site offers 20-30% off often. Hope this helps!

I love Illamasqua lip anything. I had a deep purple-ish color by them years ago. Maybe I’ll revisit them at some point. Do they still sell them at Sephora? I know they don’t in SJCP.
