100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Haha, I bought this as a gift for someone who told me today “oops, I already bought it for myself, I didn’t think anyone would really give me makeup [for her birthday], sorry!” That means I get to keep this one! 😂 And hey, it just happens to be another orange! 

ColourPop Blur Lux in K Bop: 

One more orange. 🙂

This is CP’s new matte “Blur” formula of their Lux bullets. First one of these I’ve tried. I like it better than CP’s Ultra Blotted liquid matte, that’s for sure.

Ocean Ave on L, K Bop on R; neither are as bright/bold on the lips as they are in the tube.

I’m wearing K Bop over a different lip balm than I normally use, which isn’t very moisturizing or long lasting (boo to Kiehl’s Lip Balm No. 1; won’t buy it again); it might be affecting this lipstick. It’s not very drying, but it’s cracking more than it probably should. It does give me a soft blotted look, as long as I don’t overapply. I’m about to wipe it all off, apply my tried and true Aquaphor as balm, then reapply K Bop to see if it wears better.
