100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

MAC Liptensity in Double Fudge. I’ll spare y’all my lament (again) about this line’s demise. 😄 😞 I meant to blot this down today to get a lighter stain finish, but I’m glad I went full pigment instead.

Thank you @JaneanBT ! Believe it or not, it took decades for me to warm up to brown lipstick. Before my mid-40s, the closest I ever got to brown was MAC Satin in X-S, which is a much redder brown than Double Fudge. I didn’t start venturing more into browns until a couple years ago. You’d think brown wouldn’t be such a stretch for anyone used to wearing black, purple, and blue lipsticks. 😂 I even got through the 90s without brown lipstick, aside from X-S. 😮

Thanks @Sunnysmom ! I still wish MAC would explain why they discontinued Liptensity. I can’t believe those bullets were underselling, as fantastic as they are. Sigh... at least I managed to grab several backups!

Me too @WinglessOne ! It’s a mystery! And all the SA I have talked to feel the same. So odd. Sometimes I think vendors don’t like to have a product that’s too good so they discontinue them if that makes sense. ( like all my favorite old mascaras!) I have a few backups too thankfully but still...grrr. Glad you do too!! 🤗
