100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@katkapivarci Oh thank you! I want to play around with it a bit more before I wear it out though. I’ll need to use a liner because it does bleed a bit, I generally don’t use liners.

Have you tried the BITE BEAUTY - Line & Define Lip Primer outside your lips so you don't have to look for a color to match?

@Buootiful I haven’t tried that specific one, but I have darker liners specifically for shades like this. Thank you for the suggestion!

@blackkitty2014 I say if you feel cute enough to post a selfie after a workout you need to work out again, and actually sweat this time. THE MIRRORS ARE THERE TO CHECK YOUR FORM NOT YOUR HAIR. I’m always dripping and sweat and my shirt is soaked through, and I somehow manage to get dirty? I can’t explain it. I see chicks there who just like wander from equipment to equipment bouncing around. Pick something and use it! Haha. 

ETA: I realize I posted a selfie after working out, but this was hours later hahaha. Not right after.

I hate to say this but I missed yesterday! So disappointed in myself. Today is Urban Decay vice liquid lipstick in Backtalk. A friend gave me a 4 pack sampler of this formula. I hated it when I put it on because it was so drying. I pulled them back out for this challenge. Holy cow, primer makes a big difference. I can wear these now. Woohoo.

I'm sort of on the fence about this one. Its pretty but I think it might be too nice, just not visible. Can you guys give me some feedback? This is not me begging for compliments. Be honest. Thanks guys!

I like this color on you @sprocketta. I often find if a color is too light, I can use a lip liner that is a little darker or has some pink or red in it to add a little more depth.

Backtalk is a lovely nude lip color on you @sprocketta!  You may just not be used to it, but I think it suits your complexion wonderfully!  What primer did you use with it?

As someone who adores a bold lip, and knowing you like bold lips too, I have to say...this is a really good nude shade for you. It works well with your coloring and is very flattering! This would be a good one to hang onto for when the bold lips just don't work 😊

@sprocketta It’s definitely a nude color but it looks great on you! It’s visible to me when I look at your picture and it complements your skin tone! Don’t be shy about wearing this particular color, I see nothing negative about it and I’m glad that now you can wear it when you use a lip primer! 😉

@keana1 Thanks for the opinion and the kind words.  I've decided I like the shade on me, but think it's hard to tell I'm wearing anything.  Honestly, this formula feels super light on the lips and after I ate lunch I couldn't even tell if I was wearing it anymore.  Which leaves me thinking too nude.  But since everyone has good things to say, I'm going to put it into rotation (after the 100 lipstick challenge).
