100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@snoflakefaerie@I don't have that many lipsticks as I've just started wearing makeup, but I will use a new one everyday. Here's what I'm wearing today.

Mac Amplified cream in Aaliyah collection (😍) RIP- the color: More than a Woman one. I bought 2 weeks ago.

I'll post some older lippies and start fresh on Monday 🙂 as I don't do makeup on the weekend as much as work day.

@Buootiful sorry this is days late, I'm trying to catch up on responding to everyone. Anyway, welcome to the challenge. You don't need to be crazy and have a million lipsticks like some of us. I think it's just fun to shop our collections and try using what we have already.

Thanks!! @sprocketta I've been into the matte lippies and I am getting into the more creamier ones now. Their shine is pretty. But they are more prone to get messy with eating 🙂

There are tradeoffs but I vastly prefer cream lipsticks to mattes. I'm not a fan of the matte look, except for a couple exceptions. I'd rather reapply after meals than the mattes.

Thanks @jozkid !!!.<3 It is so moisturizing and has niacinamide and squalane in it, which really suprised me. The lip lines lasted all day and all I had to touch up was swiping it once over my lips to fill in the color 🙂

Day 7: treStique Matte Lip Crayon in Florence Fig

I had the day off, so I played around with makeup. You can't really see the eyeshadow, but I tried out the new Norvina palette and sampled a Touch in Sol foundation (could be a touch too light, but I also used a flash and it has SPF in it). I liked that this lipstick balanced a relatively dark eye, but didn't compete with the purple. I did have a balm underneath, but it definitely wasn't drying for a matte lipstick. Woot to making it a week in to this silly journey!
