100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

I picked this up a few months ago from TJMaxx, but I'm not sure I've done anything more than swatch it til now. It's a lot more sheer than I thought it would be, and it's got a slight melon/coral hint to it that I wasn't expecting, but all in all, I like it 👍

Another color from the Shiseido blister pack!  This one is Shizuka Red which is described as Cranberry. And it looks like kind of a brick color on me. Oh well. It’s pretty, but the descriptions are crazy!

I think Vortex @Loretta55. I only own three full sized ones: Vortex, Scarlet Rush (?) and Code Red which I haven’t worn yet. Out of the samples I like the pink one so far. Haven’t tried Streaming Mauve but I’d like to!

I need to go to my local Macy’s and actually swatch the VisionAiry Gel Lipsticks @jozkid. I have not opened the sample bullets yet. I ordered the Pink Flash but I felt it was not complimentary on my skin tone. I still have not worn Sleeping Dragon 227 and Latern Red 220. I am not sure how Vortex will look on me.

Day 66, lipstick 77: By Terry Hyaluronic Sheer Rouge in Dragon Pink. Extreme and blurry closeup, attempting (and failing) to show the blue shift. It’s subtle, but it’s there. 

This is more of a tinted balm. One coat gives me a nice sheer coat. 4 coats gets me what’s pictured. It claims to plump lips but I didn’t notice that effect. But it does live up to its moisturization claim. It’s scented but, surprisingly, I don’t smell-taste it. Not sure I’d buy another shade of this, but I do like this one.

Dragon Pink is a really pretty color on you @WinglessOne  You can rock any color, it seems, conventional or not.
