100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Aw thank you! So it looks like the consensus is that it’s a coral and not pink. Still disappointed because I was hoping the color would be like the shade picture they had so I am not sure I still want it but we will see.

@SnugglePuggle94 It’s a lovely coral on you. I looked up the product photo at CT.com and yeah, it looks very different! I rarely trust product photos (by any brand) anymore: most of the time, they use bright bright lighting that doesn’t show the product’s true shade. Instead I swatch testers in person and/or look for other people’s swatches online.

This particular one (in your photos) looks exactly like a ColourPop liquid satin lipstick... I don’t remember the name, but I bet Temptalia has it listed as a dupe. I know because I once bought the CP shade as a birthday gift for someone. And the CP shade is definitely not the light pink shown in CT’s product photos, either. I still think this CT looks great on you. Hopefully it’s not really too drying.

Day 16 tatcha peony blossom silk lipstick I'm loving this lipstick! it's not sticky, its not matte either, and very little transfer, I'll be looking into more colors

Oh that’s pretty!! I have it too but haven’t tried it yet. I have worn the Beautyberry and am in love with it though 🙂 Tatcha makes great lipsticks!
