100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Bummer about the NARS Velvet Matte pencil. I ditched all my Velvet pencils earlier in this challenge because they’re not pigmented enough for me, plus I don’t like how they feel on my lips. But I know some folks love ‘em. Spellbound looks as sheer on you as some of the other Velvet shades look on me.

Lipstick Queen All That Jazz in Hot Piano

Sheer, almost balmy texture, but buildable. Glittery but not gritty. I am in love 💖 The only con is it has a bit of that old school waxy scent, but it doesn't seem to be too strong so far.

I’ve already forgotten what day I’m on, but today’s lipstick is More Than a Woman from MAC’s Aaliyah collection. This is the first time I’ve worn it and I like it. The only reason I’m not smiling is because I’ve two zits and I’m a little self conscious.

Day 38: Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lip Creme in 280 Strawberry Girl. I grabbed this one after returning the Clara bold pink that you all loved but I wasn’t sure of lol (and now I’m starting to wonder if I should’ve kept it because I look at my pictures and think wow that’s really pretty lol). Anyhow I kept my eye on this one when I was looking through the others and I’m glad I grabbed it! Described as a “warm strawberry.” Not sure how to describe this in tone type terms because this one confuses me haha. It’s like a red but on a different level. 🤷‍♀️ Formula is as comfortable as ever, lightweight and amazing. Keeper!!
