100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Today I’m wearing Colorpop Petit Four.  I love this shade and think I reach for it everytime i try to make use of my Colorpop lipsticks.  It’s one I know  I’ll be repurchasing the day it expires.

Lancome L'Absolu Lacquer in 168 Rose Rouge, a simply stunning red-berry shade. Yes, somehow I have managed to hold a few shades back for this challenge, and I still have a few I haven't worn yet  😋

(I've seen a few new faces here, ones that might not have read my pitch yet. If you like glossy color that actually lasts, you really really really need to try these. 😍 Just make sure you get the Lacquer, not the plain gloss.)

Ahhhhhhh, after seeing some of your collection, I kinda thought you had *everything* already. :p:p If you haven't tried this formula yet, you seriously need to. NOW. It doesn't quite match up to a liquid matte in terms of lasting power, but it hands down beats any other gloss or even bullet I've ever tried. There's some transfer, and it will eventually wear down (over something like 6-8 hours), but it never seems to wear off. And it stays soft and comfy the whole time. Magic stuff.

It sounds like a dream lipstick!  Liquid mattes aren’t typically my thing but I’m not above wearing them if it’s a particularily dark shade.  I prefer creamy moisture and reapplying over dry lips with unbudging color.   @RGbrown

Going through my collection has been a real eye opener for me...I discovered just how much I truly hate anything with even the barest hint of dry. I miiiiight tolerate a metallic matte from time to time (because I can't pass up sparkle), but 99% of my mattes went right out the door. On the other hand, these Lacquers are my top HG, must have, can't live without lippie. If I were ever forced to seriously downsize my collection for any reason, every Lacquer would be safe, no matter what.
