100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh no! This makes me very sad. Feathering is a definite nope for me. That color had such potential too :(:(

@RGbrown  I’m just glad I used Ulta points to get this gloss (and other things in the same order). 😄 What makes me sadder than the gloss is that yellow eyeliner. It’s super pigmented on me, but sooo hard to work with. Thanks for the compliment, though! 🙂

Today I continued with my KatVonD collection and went with Lolita II liquid lips.  Of course I was going to wear another shade so I lined my lips with the wrong liner.  I also played with the Morphe Boss Mood Palette after wanting to try different shades of olive and warm greens.  I swear they turned gold on me grrr.  I’m thinking some of the morphe shadows oxidize on my skin because when I wear different brands of green they don’t turn.  It was a really pretty green for about an hour and then later it turned like an autumn 🍂.   Plus I find they don’t wear as long.  I’m scouting some of the melt cosmetics because I’m enjoying the crazy colours that some of these indie brands are putting out.Lolita II with a bit of butter glossNot having success with Morphe

That’s unfortunate about the morphe changing on you, @2manyperfumes but the green gold look is still great on you! I haven’t tried green shades from morphe, but I haven’t had that experience with their warmer palettes (then again they’re mostly oranges and browns🤔). Anyways - the lip is absolutely fantastic. The gloss put it over the edge - so juicy!!! And your lips are liked perfectly. Great color on you!

Thank you @😊 I know I have the 350 warm palette and no issues just this palette.  I think that it reacts with my eye primer.  I use the Marc Jacobs eye primer and no issues with other palettes.  I’m going to test it without this primer or it could be my Dewy mist spray maybe.

Lolita 2 looks pretty on you. I hope it looks as good on me. I have it, but haven’t worn it for the challenge yet.

Thanks @divaknits I loved the original but I like this one too because it goes with so many makeup looks.  Not that it feels drying but I love to add a bit of gloss now that I’m older to keep my lips plump.  I find by the end of the day they feel like I’ve been in water and kind of prunish lol.  Moreso over winter than the humid summers which are great for my skin but not my hair.  Can’t win with Canadian weather 😬
