100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

So I said was going to checkout my bite collection, this morning realized I have around 20 of them so definitely did not have time to go through all of them ha! Just grabbed what I was in the mood for. So this was surprisingly annoying to apply in that it dragged on the lips. Another thing I don’t like about bite lippies is they feather on me a lot. At least they’re pigmented and hydrating though.

Beautiful deep tone on you @lnum and looks sophisticated.  That’s too bad about it dragging and feathering.  I have some Bite products that are overly moist and I find they are a bit messy.  I have one from MAC that drags ☹️ Another great piece of jewellery 🤩 .

@2manyperfumes Yes the overly moist thing too, I find some of their high pigment pencils do that.

I almost bought Beetroo, but changed my mind. I think it was because I heard about the bleeding and feathering @lnum . I do have one bullet that I got from TJ Maxx that was a Valentine special so it was on clearance. Seems like it was So in Love or something like. That.I’ll have to check it out. I know i’ve I worn it for the challenge. Yeah, i’ll find out I have to go take a pic when I have to go home. I’m at Wendy’s restaurant eating Southwest Avocado Salad. where’s the avocado🤷🏾‍♀️🙄?

@divaknits It’s a lovely color it’s just the feathering that drives me nuts because I tend to get it all over my face when I eat. 😅

That sounds delicious! Sorry there’s no avocado! Fun fact: I found out I’m allergic to avocados just this week. But I swear I’ve eaten them in small amounts and been ok, but guacamole is a no-no for me.

It was peanuts, cashews, and strawberries for me. I was devastated. I loved all three.

@lmaster I’m determined to get through at least half the bite lippies! The other half I think I might retire...I just don’t like them anymore. 😐

@lnum  I was starting to think I’m the only one who gets lots of feathering/bleeding  with every Bite bullet. They’re the only bullets (well, also one UD bullet) I always wear with a lip liner, or a quick lip primer barrier around the outside of my lips. The colors and creamy texture are worth the effort—though I’m bummed to hear Beetroot has a texture problem. (I don’t have that shade.) It looks great on you though!

@WinglessOne I think for me I’m not willing to put in time to make a shade work with a lip brush, liner, primer, etc when I can just grab another one and go! I’m too tired and rushed in the mornings. 😅

@lnum Oof. I hate it when it drags. I don't have any Bite's except for a couple samples that I ought to test out. At the least its a good color. I personally avoid using lipliner whenever possible so bleeding ones I love to avoid. TBH I only own two lip liners. Givenchy black and universal.

@Weetart I feel as if Bite is one of those brands where the lippies haven’t been consistent for me in terms of how creamy they are and the dragging, except that they all feather. I actually own one lipliner, universal, ha! I tend to wear it only with bright reds.

@lnum I totally hear you on the reds! I'm just too dang lazy. I use the black when I want to add a little shading or deepen a color a touch.
