100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

This is gorgeous, @Guessgal . How did you get it to look so matte? 🙂

@Buootiful  Hmm I started off applying with a brush, then filling in lightly with the lip crayon. It does have a reflective element to it tho. I guess it’s hard to tell from the pic with my full face so I attached a close up. My lower lip has a little sheen to it

Ahh, good tip! @Guessgal I only have one lip pencil I have tried so far that works well, the it cosmetics lip pencil. Its expensive but I think Im gonna have to get a few more to put in my purse, lol

My husband says it’s pretty. Daughter says it looks good on me.  I could’ve had a V8. Lipstick Queen in Frog Prince. I have nothing against the shade, but it’s spring and I feel the need for something more robust. I’m not a spring wearing type of gal. . Fortunately it’s from Ulta’s 21 Days of Beauty minis so I don’t feel bad. I like the formula and color enough to wear it again at some point. I’ve never worn any lipstick this creamy. I’m so used to mattes. The only thing I hate I that it disappeared when just  taIking. Yes, it’s that weak. Even with a setting spray and lip primer. It’s time for our compromise and go bright or go home. He married me knowing I have an eclectic array of lip art. He loves reds so that won’t be enough of a shock. I’ll look through the train case and see what I already have posted in the past 58 days. Surley there’s something I can wear. I have something coming that will truly put a shock on his face. Just wait...

Omg this site is so frustrating. It won’t let me upload. Day 59: Huda Spice Girl with Fenty Beauty Kilowatt Foil Palette’s Coppin. I like it, but hubby’s glad I didn’t wear it for our wedding, which I planned to do with just Spice Girl. What? This from King of the Land of Nudes and Berries? Wow

I like it. I’m shocked my husband didn’t. Maybe Coppin threw him off. 😄

Thanks @JaneanBT   It’s green in the tube and turns you “perfect” shade of pink. I’d hoped that it was slightly pinker, but it’s ok.
