A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

@CynthieLu i think both will work. It depends on the look you are going for. You could start try outlining and feathering/blending into the lips for a more ombre effect and then top with the lipstick. You could fill in more if you want more coverage/vibrancy?
@CynthieLu another beautiful shade on you! Too bad it isn't quite as advertised - maybe they edited the promo pics? Still a lovely shade, and I am glad you still love it!
I feel like the vibrancy of these colours are amped up in advertising, which makes me a little sad @caitbird I can't say for sure but it does feel like it. It's lovely and a beautiful formula to wear and I like this one alot, but I'm my heart I want to own a shade like the one in ad.
@CynthieLu yeah, it is too bad when advertising is inaccurate or misleading, even if that wasn't the brand's intention. 😔 Maybe you can get a color closer to the ad photos if you used lip liner like @Mellmars1185 suggested? Or maybe try using a lip primer?
I'm going to try that and see @caitbird using my lip primer is a good idea! I don't even need a primer with this formula, it's so good on its own, I never would have thought of it. 🙏
@CynthieLu - I stopped by when I saw the thumbnail for the model's lips! 😄 I wondered whose lips? and what a gorgeous color! How disappointing to find out it's an ad. The color is lovely on you. 😍 Too bad it isn't as vibrant as in the pic.
Thank you kindly @Titian06 it is a fabulous color, but I honestly would have loved if it was like the photo from the advertisement. 😍 I got some great compliments wearing it yesterday, and that always feels so good. And I really am happy with it as is.
Did anyone see the new shades from Tom Ford lip line start popping up on Sephora Canada, like the Cinnamon one?? *Swoons* The new line is so tempting! ( And the lip liners? I'm real intrigued!)
