100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

This is going to be my second wear test for

Westman Atelier Lip Suede Hydrating Matte Lipstick with Hyaluronic Acid Läcker 

I love this formula but I really have to prep my lips and hydrate them before applying. ( There's so much line settling otherwise 💦)

Thoughts: I'm afraid the shade might be to light for my the natural pigmentation of my lips, but I'm still on the fence and still deciding. It photographs beautifully thou. 😉

It does photograph beautiful @CynthieLu how does it look if you use a darker liner first then lipstick over?

Oooh thank you, I will try that @lmaster and see if I like it better. I've never fully filled in my lips with liner before but I'm not against trying something new. You think it will be helpful?

Yes! You can create an ombre effect @CynthieLu

@CynthieLu @lmaster I think this shade looks really pretty. But you have to love it. I was going to suggest the darker liner also. You can use it before and top with the lipstick and if it is too light still, you can touch it up with a bit more liner. Let us know if you try it please ☺️

I just feel like the color of my lips are to powerfull underneath this one. I will try an all over line with it with a few of the pencils I have and see if I get a result I am happy with. 

I do like this color and I'm hoping it will work out 🤞

Trying out the Diamond Lips again 👄 

This time with Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glow Tinted Butter Balm in shade 44B 

Instead of a duo chrome liner I used an eyeshadow. I recently picked up the pink ABH Norvina palette at Marshalls and it has some really pretty shades, I knew the A2 would be perfect for this. 💞

The lightly coloured balm from YSL hung around on lips for a good long while and so did this shadow. Very happy with how this held up 👌
