100 Days of Lipstick Challenge

Hi BIC!

A lot of us have talked about our huge lipstick collections, and with the passing of another National Lipstick Day, I took stock of mine. I have about 200 lipsticks and glosses and realized, I only wear about 20 of them! So I'm challenging myself (and whoever else wants to join) to use more of them. I'm going to try to wear a different lipstick every day for the next 100 days.

I’m nowhere near done with my stash of red lipsticks but wasn’t feeling like wearing one today. This lip colour I have on is a bit hard to describe as it is a result of layering 3 different Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks.

lipstick 16: Bite Beauty's multistick in Macaroon. The multisticks are not my favorite thing. It's oddly powdery feeling, which I suppose is why it works as a blush too

It’s very pretty on you @MsMAP 💖 it compliments your blouse.  The multistick has a different consistency.  I have 3 but I only use two as multisticks.  I guess I should try the peacock pearl on my face too lol.

@2manyperfumes I've heard and seen pictures with the Peacock Pearl. Is that color only the multi stick or is that in a lip gloss as well? I feel like @winglessone would know this..

@sprocketta  @MsMAP  @2manyperfumes  I also have both the gloss and the multistick. I’ve worn both for this thread before, though the gloss was worn as a topper. The gloss is more opaque than the multistick, but I find both work best layered over some kind of base—either a lip primer, a lip pencil, or a matte or cream lipstick. 

Here I am wearing the gloss on one side of my lips and the multistick on the other side; the gloss is thick and will feather without a liner, but I didn’t use a liner for tonight’s quick lip swatch photo:

And here’s the last time I wore the multistick solo (no base or top coat, or lip liner), back in October:

Once upon a time, I used the multistick as a thick wing liner. It needed a primer base and powder setting to stay put, but I tend to always powder-set my winged liner anyway so that wasn’t too big a deal.

Yeah @WinglessOne ❤️👏, you are awesome 😘, yes I agree, the gloss is opaque.  The multi is sheer.  I haven’t tried it as a liner, shadow or blush.  Now I’m curious.  It looks so good on you!  I like the difference in the two.   The multistick I find is more wearable, comfortable on me.  The gloss is a bit heavy, I can’t live without my liners.  I find the moment you change the liner or lipstick shade (the multistick shifts nicely with the undertone.
